What do you love most about your job?
I love helping people to make their business the best it can possibly be, by making sense of their numbers.
What inspired you to start your own business?
After 4 years as a bookkeeper I started to realise that many business owners were intimidated by their accountants, and were scared to ask a question or call them up about something, in case they looked silly or got charged a lot more.
I thought how nice it would be to be the kind of person that people wouldn't be frightened to call up if they needed my help. This is why we never charge for additional assistance, whether over the phone or via email (or even if you see me in the supermarket, this happens a lot!); you can always make contact knowing I will never bill you extra, or make you feel like you're asking a silly question.

I strive to provide a good value for money service and if there is something you can do yourself to bring my fees down I will always tell you. Our aim is to provide fast, efficient, proactive and cost effective solutions for your bookkeeping.
Bookkeeping
We offer a comprehensive bookkeeping service with as much or as little help as you need.
Although we have experience in most desktop accountancy software, we now only work with cloud based software. Not only does this give us the opportunity to work with clients in many different locations, it also enables us to take advantage of the many time and money saving opportunities for clients that cloud software offers.
We reconcile your sales and purchase ledgers, reconcile your bank accounts, post relevant journals, file VAT returns, and help you liaise with your accountant at year-end, if applicable.
Our monthly fixed price arrangements are very popular, after we have completed the first month of your bookkeeping (charged hourly) we will quote for a fixed price for the rest of the year, so you don't ever get an unexpected bill from us.
Payroll
Our payroll service is highly efficient and competitively priced. We charge per payslip, and all charges include -
- hourly/salary pay calculated and tax /NI/student loan worked out
- payslip provided to you and your employee via email or post (postage charges apply if posted)
- monthly total due to HMRC calculated and sent to you
- Automatic Enrolment pension submissions filed
The only additional charges we make in respect of payroll are setting up a PAYE scheme for you (£25) and setting up a pension scheme of your choice on your behalf for Automatic Enrolment (£ TBC)
We operate a maximum 1 working day turnaround on your payroll, but the turnaround time is usually a maximum of 2 hours.
