Excellent service, delivered exactly what I asked for, flexible (no problem taking on other problems when they came up at the same time), prompt response, very good prices. Couldn't ask for more in a web developer. More...

Mike is a go-to developer of mine if my own project load is overflowing. He's a fantastic developer, and I've never known him to miss a deadline or deliver a sub-standard product. He really is a great all-round guy. A pleasure to deal with. More...

What makes a great website?
A great website is one that solves the task it is set. Be that providing information to the public, advertising a service or selling a product, the website has to do that well, it has to encourage visitors from the moment they open it to the moment the task is complete and keep them returning and happy.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
First and foremost, what do you want the website to achieve, what is the purpose of the site? This is the defining factor of everything that follows.
What do you love most about your job?
I love being creative, solving problems and guiding people from the very beginning of a project or task and having them come out the other end happy and hopefully more knowledgeable, with the job complete.
I'm fully immersed in the web design and development industry and my free time is usually spent tinkering with a personal project. I'm also part of the team behind one of the largest web design communities online, the Web Design Forum, which was started by a handful of us to help professionals and beginners alike with their web design and development woes. Besides this I also run several local community based not-for profit sites and often help train these groups on how to best manage their sites to benefit the community.
