Our Masonic Hall is the oldest in the area, having been in continuous use for the past 200 years. The company is licensed to conduct weddings and civil partnerships and has a fully equipped kitchen. You can therefore, take your wedding vows in our old building, have your reception in our function room and an evening reception for friends and family.

Exterior is a little plain but once inside, obvious that ongoing renovations and improvements are being carried out. Some very ornate rooms within and certainly, during an open day within the City, well worth a visit.

We had our wedding reception here in August 2017. We had a wonderful day and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to others. We had previously had a birthday party here and our engagement party, our wedding reception was even better. Communication was great and every time I wanted to ask another question or query something I was responded to very quickly and nothing was too much trouble. Absolutely gorgeous venue and extremely helpful staff/organisers x our wedding there was 7th October 17 and couldn't fault the service.
..the wedding breakfast was superb and the silver service was excellent. Highly recommend using this beautiful "hidden" gem of a venue and you get a choice of 2 beautiful rooms for your actual ceremony.
Guests loved it and couldn't believe how beautiful it was and in the town centre too it was easily accessible x
We used Dana Twidale to dress it for us and it looked fabulous xxx
