What an awful company. I am a Peabody resident. First reported no heating on Thursday AM. 4 hours response time. No one came to my property. Signed off repair as completed. I re-reported, on Thursday PM, it is now Sunday. Still have not attended. They won't ring me to get access/arrange appointment. I have a sick child and a 10 month old baby at home. They have told Peabody they will not be attending and they don't care about my children. If you want your heating fixed, avoid Milverdene. More...

Have used this company for the first time and found them very professional. The engineer arrived on time and was able to fix the problem. Initially it was possibly a big job however the engineer diagnosed the issue with the pump and fixed it while he was on site and saved me a huge cost which was likely to be the fault earlier. I would like to compliment our latest engineer Nord who came to NW9 to fix an issue we had with radiators not warming up. The past lead engineer who visited 3-4 times struggled to find the issue - I had to escalate to get a real professional . Nord was definitely that specialist. 1. He came on time (unlike the others)2. He was very transparent regarding what he was doing (the previous so called lead engineer was rude and just experimented3. He fixed the additional problems created by previous Milverdene lead engineer4. He found the problem relatively quickly and fixed it first time.Milverdene as a whole deserves 3*, but Nord was definitely a 5* engineer - I would definitely trust him to carry out all sorts of repairs. Reading other reviews I must have been very lucky with the service I have received yet again from Milverdene. Had a leak from kitchen pipe which was diagnosed by HA's plumber as coming from boiler pipe. Rang Milverdene at approx 9am and the operative was with me within 30 minutes (had no water) and despite him being a boiler engineer and as it turned out the leak not a boiler problem, he did his best to sort it and advise me on what to do next. Boiler not working so no heating or hot water. As annual check booked for morning of 23rd December, I rang the company to say I would wait 48 hours until engineer came to do check, but to please make sure that he was aware of the problem. On the day, engineer rang me at 8.45am to say he was 20 mins away and indeed arrived on time. A total professional who fixed the complicated problem and did annual check all within an hour.
