What do you love most about your job?
I love every step of the process of designing a garden. My two favourite parts come at the beginning and the end, though. Firstly, the initial conversations and sketches that lead to an idea which meets every part of the brief. Secondly, and at the end of the process, returning to a built garden and working with the client to soften the hard landscaping with a sensitive and detailed planting scheme.
What inspired you to start your own business?
My hobby was bursting at the scenes and, after part time training over a period of three years, I was ready to establish a business doing what I love.
Why should our clients choose you?
Clients often tell me that the extent to which I listen and pick up on detail in initial conversations and reflect that in designs and schemes later in the process is unparalleled. I love plants and design, but I also love people and talking to them and listening is a key part of this job and a skill that separates me from much of the competition.
