A nice free gallery hidden at the top of the library. The gallery has an assortment of artwork and is well laid out. There's a small gift shop as well.

This was part of my first visit to Sheffield l started by spending the morning and part of the afternoon at the Millennium Gallery,it made a good start. I particularly liked the Ruskin exhibition and that of Sheffield steel& silver metal work. Photos I’ve posted include two of my own pocket knife,it was my grandfather’s and I’m 72 . More...

A small taste of history presented well and not overfacing, well placed for dropping in as part of a trip into the city centre. Modern building kept clean and welcoming. Amazing that they manage to keep it free to visit! More...

Great free gallery that usually has some good, interesting exhibitions and where the Ruskin Collection is permanently displayed. In the heart of the city so close by places to eat if you don't want to use the cafe and easy to get to. More...

This is probably the best museum in the city. It's home to a number of different styles, all of them of great artistic value and some pieces dating back a few centuries. Perfect place to go anytime and relax in its huge galleries. Sadly the cafeteria is no longer open. Also, there's Sheffield central library on the first 2 floors of the building, which is very convenient. More...
