I had a home inspection done and found I needed electrical work done. I found Mikulka Electric to have great reviews. I called and explained what I needed done. I emailed them a picture of the home inspection report and they quoted me a price and booked an appointment promptly due to the live wires. They were prompt and professional. Don from Mikulka was great. He found the problem in a couple of hours. He was polite, professional and methodical. He got the job done. We originally called Precision Tech to come to our house and try to diagnose why our kitchen/living room lights were out. Precision could not find the problem with 3 employees, and charged us over $1500 to change some outlets and not fix the problem we called them for. Then they even wanted to bill us $500 more after the fact, saying that they under billed us. Don got the actual job done at half the price. More...

Found Mikulka online, when I thought I had an attic fan that seized up. Don came to the house checked it out and despite what would have been easy to ring up a charge for a new motor/thermostat let me know it was fine just needed to be lubricated. He installed a new outlet for me, changed some wiring and installed a floodlight in my backyard. He was courteous, fast, friendly and easy to deal with and prompt. I could not be happier with my decision to hire Mikulka as my electrician for my new home. I initially spoke with Nicole who was and continues to be so pleasant and friendly! She communicated clearly and set clear expectation of the next steps and exact appointment times. Once I got to meet Pete at my home I was sold. He took his time to review my home inspection and really educated me on the entire electrical world! His goal was not only to gain a customer for this one job, but he wants a customer for all electrical work needed down the road and that is the relationship I was searching for. What I love most about my job is being able to meet new people under all different
circumstances. From our commercial customers to our residential customers each
opportunity is different. My favorite part of my job is helping our clients bring their vision
alive. Second to that is when we solve a problem and see the relief on their faces.

What inspired you to start your own business?
I am a third generation Mikulka family electrician. Its in my DNA!
