Ian at Mersey Tuning saved me what could have been a fortune! After having my car remapped and being extremely pleased with the result, I had an issue with the car starting about 3 weeks later.
RAC could not diagnose the issue and advised to take it to the dealer. I then asked Ian for his advice. He assured me that it would not be anything to do with the remap but to set my mind at ease he agreed to have a look anyway. It was on my drive so he came to my house and diagnosed the issue within minutes. It was a leaking fuel pipe which was caused by a missing clip and was solved at a minor cost by a local garage.
Ian came out for no charge and was extremely willing and happy to help.
I cannot recommend Mersey Tuning enough as it is by far the most professional and trustworthy business that I have ever used. Car back to running like new again!

Superb service from start to finish. Ian at Mersey Tuning started by helping diagnose a few issues that were not highlighted by the company that I bought my car from. He did this at no cost and spent over an hour helping analyse these issues. After that he remapped the car increasing the performance and efficiency of the vehicle. It now performs with much improved efficiency and responsiveness and is a joy to drive. In addition he follows this up by keeping in contact to ensure satisfaction of service. These are all facts that mean I would highly recommend Mersey Tuning to anyone who wants a better version of their car, whether that is for economy or performance or both! More...

I Have vw tiguan 4motion 145bhp I tow a caravan and wanted more low down talk .Spoke to Ian what a lovely man he is.Ian had my car for 2hrs for re map what a transformation when for a test drive and could not believe the differences its now 185bhp . On way home desired to have a play !! Having tried many places and numerous phone calls later, Ian at Mersey tuning came up with the power of dreams, after a stage 1 remap of my honda1. 5vtec turbo the instant results were amazing, more power from standstill, faster acceleration with no lag at all, faster throttle response with more oomph, the torque has increased which I've now noticed less gear changing for roundabouts etc, motorway runs I've now noticed that instead of cruising at 60mph to achieve economy, I can now get the same economy at 74mph, returning an amazing 52mpg and instant power for overtaking etc, no waiting around or dropping gears to achieve this. Economy around town with the eco button off has dropped slightly however if you leave the eco button on for everyday driving its fine but I can live with that, overall Ian at Mersey tuning has done a brilliant job and I wouldn't hesitate recommending him to anyone, once again Ian and Mersey tuning, thanks for a job well done, see pics on Facebook page, red honda civic turbo, 228hp😜😜 More...

I try to fix my car everywhere in this area and finnaly I find best place Mersey Tuning.
I had quite a few problems. Injector leaking.
Warped discs. I went Mersey Tuning feeling very annoyed.
I left extremely happy.

This place is very recommended to every one has got dpf in his car the are dpf specialist and economy remapping so I had every light in dashboard flashing like made dpf engine management light as EGR VALVE SENSOR and the think is no one would of touch it and after a good recommendations by lots customers and friends I have smove economic and faster car thanks

After my engine had blown up and id started to try and fix it myself but not being able to fix it or find anyone to help me out i found these guys.
After some lengthy discussions on what i needed doing to get my car back on the road Ian agreed to do all the work ����.
Within a few days my car was rebuilt and running and after a full check over and diagnostic check my car was fixed ��
Excellent customer service and brilliant workmanship.
I honestly cant recommend mersey tuning enough ���
I know from now on Ian is the only guy im going to trust on any of my cars when work is needed �

My husband took our Insignia here on Thursday as it had gone into limp mode, took it to Ian , and within a hr full free diagnostics done and problems found with the DPF Filter and sensors No waiting around booked in for the next morning and did a fantastic job, car back to normal, cant thank Ian enough for a fab, quick, professional service to our car, can HIGHLY RECOMMEND this company for your cars needs.

Took my RCZ here after it being in main dealers for the same fault about 6 weeks prior, dpf blocked and gone into limp mode.
Ian diagnosed the fault and replaced the faulty part before he cleaned the dpf, the car runs better now than it has ever done with lots more power and very smooth. I will definitely recommend them to anybody.
