My 11 year old son has been learning drums with Marc for over two years and he loves it. Marc is so encouraging and supportive and a brilliant role model for my son. His sessions are fun and my son always comes home with some advice on what to work on to help him progress further. The music equipment Marc uses is of a very high standard and his safety measures during Covid have been spot on, enabling my son to keep playing even during lockdown. I’m always a bit apprehensive about team building exercises, but from arrival to exit this was so much fun. We spent time working on our own drumming skills individually, to working in small groups and collectively managed to bring together our newly learnt skills and actually play a tune together as a large group (quite the achievement). What do you love most about your job?
I love that no one day is the same. The team building and events we do are full of energy and so much fun , and we love to see people enjoying themselves, building their confidence and realising that they had talents that they didn't know they had.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have always wanted to build a business I can call my own where the sky was the limit and I like to set goals and reach them. My partner Marc was already running a successful Drum tuition company and is a professional musician so team that with my corporate / sales background... tada.. we have MD DrumLab team building events! And we love it!
