We had our wedding at Maylands on the 15th June 2019 with the lovely Vicky, she was so helpful kind and friendly and was there for us every step of the way she responded quickly back to us and was always available to talk. The grounds were amazing it’s was a beautiful day at a beautiful venue have nothing but happy thoughts from our day. Where do we start! After originally booking out wedding back in July 2017 with one wedding co-ordinator, and then receiving an email saying we had a different one, we did initially panic. However, there was no need to panic. Vicky has been amazing from the minute she took over our wedding. She is so responsive, attentive and took the time to ensure that we felt completely at ease. Vicky and her team worked so hard over the duration of our planning, responding to emails quickly, placing my mind at ease and just having great communcation, which is certainly needed for a wedding. Vicky and her team are honestly amazing and I am so glad that we got to work closely with them in the run up and the day of our wedding. They went above and beyond to ensure our day ran smoothly, even trying to ensure out little one was happy and relaxed as he was very clingy to Dad the day of the wedding. I would do it all over again in a heartbeat as long as Vicky, Katie and Co were supporting us through the day. Thank you so much for making our day more than we could have ever imagined, and we are really going to miss working with you. We had our Wedding here 4th May 2019.. such a beautiful Venue, We would like to thank Vicky who really went above and beyond to make sure we had the most perfect day! ! she was so helpful and so understanding with the needs of our Son, such a lovely lady !! she worked really well alongside our photographer , facepainter and DJ.. all staff were so lovely and helpful we can not thank Vicky and the Maylands staff enough!! We got married and had our reception here last Friday 15.03.2019 was such an amazing day everyone had a great time, Vicky and the team were fantastic and made sure everything went to plan we cannot thank them enough for all their hard work, wish we could do it all over again!

We had our wedding at Maylands just 3 weeks ago and it was perfect. The venue & surrounding grounds are just ideal for wedding shots too! All the staff are so friendly & happy to help with anything. Michael our wedding planner was superb. We had a number of meetings to run through all our requirements & he ensured everything went smoothly on our special day. Nothing was too much trouble for him. The venue itself easily coped with 150 plus guests, having 2 rooms to use as well as using the lovely decking area outside. The food was great & there was plenty to choose from. Went Friday night for the Grease & Dirty Dancing night with a group of us "ladies"! Had a fabulous night. Am looking to go again & have spied that I think they are doing an Abba/70s night but unfortunately I cannot find it on the events tab?

We had our wedding at Maylands last week and had such a good experience I could not recommend it enough. The staff were exceptionally good, they were very experienced and their attention to detail was second to none, even our toastmaster who has a wealth of event experience commented on how good they were. The venue lends itself particularly well to functions as it has a beautiful atmosphere, is just the right size for most events and has a lovely decking area stretching across the width of the back which is perfect for drinks in the sun, drinking in the beautiful view or viewing fireworks. Our wedding meal was particularly nice and I recommend the apple crumble which was oven cooked and caramelised so not just kissed by a blow torch like most usually are. There are also providers who work closely with Maylands such as David who does the equipment hire, the Selfie Mirror is particularly good, people love this and had such a good time with it and you get to keep the photos. The Safe Firework Company was excellent too, the display they provided us was awesome and our guests are still buzzing about it, in fact they are all still raving about everything so we could not be happier. Played there yesterday, Society day, 27 happy people. Course in good condition, greens were well kept and quite tricky. Lovely breakfast, and outdoor seating area, staff very smart and helpful. All in all a great day, would definitely come here again. More...

Me and my wife got married here on the 28/5/15 it was a fantastic day the staff was so nice and friendly so helpful the day run so smoothly. The grounds are so nice we have some beautiful photos from outside on the green. The food was lovely. I would recommend anyone who is getting married in the future to go and have a look here. Had our wedding reception here on the 23.08.2014 and would like to say how impressed we both was on the way it looked (magical). Tessa and the Maylands team made our day a day to remember, they helped us plan our wedding from day one with loads of advice and recommending suppliers. We had a bbq as our wedding breakfast which was fantastic and to finish our magical day we had a fantastic fireworks display provided by The Safe Fireworks Company ( Doug & Pearl ) which we would highly recommend to give your wedding the wow factor.
