Our wedding day was absolutely perfect and this is partly down to Bloom Bloom floristry.From our initial consultation with Sara, it was brilliant to talk to someone that was so professional and lovely at the same time. My husband and I did not know one flower to the next and the portfolio we were shown blew us away. From having a vision in my head of what I wanted, Sara understood exactly what we were after. Katrina then followed up what we desired with our final details meeting before the wedding, this was the most lovely call I had as I knew everything was under control. As Katrina had previously worked at the venue she understood everything I wanted for the decoration on the day. On the day of the wedding the flowers arrived promptly, they were absolutely perfect, even better than I had envisioned. Katrina then stayed to turn the room around for the wedding breakfast, when we walked in we were astonished at how beautiful it was! The attention to detail was second to none! Can't recommend Matthew Oliver Weddings enough! Very organised professional and hard working. We worked with Bertie for about two years in the lead up to our wedding in Italy . Whilst our wedding was only small with around 30 people attending we could not have organised it without him and his contacts as he was certainly cool, calm and in control, even during the moments when I wasn't! Wow! I was blown away by the flowers and floral pieces created by Katrina and Becky for my wedding! They absolutely brought my dream to fill a marquee full of flowers and colour to life! I met a few florists when picking someone to work with for my wedding and I chose Katrina because I was easily able to build rapport with her, I felt that she understood the overall image I was trying to create and showed me some examples to demonstrate that she got it. We talked in depth and she gave me some great ideas and took me through what I might need (and hadn’t even considered!!) We met a couple of times after the initial meeting to refine the flowers and displays. My colour scheme was tricky because I didn’t have a colour scheme and wanted ‘all of the colours’ which Katrina absolutely delivered on beautifully. Katrina went over and above my expectations with help setting up my tables and with all of the flower arrangements. The flowers were outstanding, smelled fantastic and we had many compliments on them. The floral hoops were Katrina’s idea and they were absolutely beautiful, something I’ll treasure as they are actually artificial! Many of my guests took home jars of flowers from the tables and over a week later they tell me the flowers are still going strong despite starting out at the wedding in 27 degree heat all day long! Matt, Bertie and the whole team were wonderful to work with during our wedding. We had an incredibly complex wedding as we live in the US and our wedding was in a remote French village with 100+ guests coming from the States and Australia. Matt kept everything on track throughout the process and was always available for us, despite being a continent away. As we were planning, Matt had great vendor contacts and it was evident to us that he had very positive relationships which helped assure us that our wedding weekend would be smooth and meet our design expectations. Katrina was an absolute godsend, she arranged the flowers for our wedding and I cannot speak highly enough of her. She was so helpful as I was not completely sure what flowers I wanted but she gave fantastic advice and was able to take the thoughts I had and turn them into something beautiful. Myself and my husband were so pleased with all the flowers on the day, they were absolutely perfect, even better than we had envisioned and completely transformed the marquee! Katrina also had some fantastic ideas for the flowers girls including gorgeous flower wands which they loved. She did the flowers for the cake and the bridesmaids hair too. But then my husband and Matthew planned a wedding for suprise and it was the most exciting, enjoyable, romantic and funniest day of my entire life. We live in Austria and married in Dorset and my husband wanted to hide all preparations. The whole wedding was planned by writing e-mails.
