My son bought me a make over / photo shoot for a birthday present , as i hate photos taken it took me two years to actually get round to booking it. I was lucky enough to have found Jeff Brown ( photographer) and Marissa Bennett who did my hair and make up. She made me feel fantastic and put me at ease straight away. I first met Marissa when i was looking for someone to do my hair and makeup for my wedding last year. Straight away by her professional and friendly approach she made me feel at ease and confident that she Was listening to my every wish. On my wedding day she arrived early as promised and worked none stop for 6 hours doing my hair and make up and my bridesmaids hair. Her talent is unbelievable and both hair and make up was flawless all day. Everyone commented on them!!!! I live in Miami and I am getting married next year, July 2016 at jesmond dene in Newcastle. I know how fantastic Marissa is as she did the hair and makeup at my brothers wedding in 2012 at matfen hall. I knew I wanted to book her and luckily I was just in Newcastle visiting a few weeks ago and she was able to do my hair and makeup trial for my wedding then. She took interest in my thoughts from things I had found on Pinterest and I was over the moon to see her pull the look all together. Amazing, professional, talented makeup artist and hairdresser. I worked with her on Chris and Laura's wedding, where I had the pleasure of photographing the wedding. She made Laura's skin glow! Very little retouching needed in photoshop as Marissa did such a good. I have worked with many makeup artists and Marissa truly knows how to make your makeup look beautiful in real life and also in your photographs, which is a true talent.
