I trained with Sam for 6 months and really loved it! I was very nervous about using weights in the gym but Sam has given me so much confidence and knowledge that I feel I'm able to enter the gym and know exactly what I want to do. Training with Sam was very varied - weights, kick boxing and HIIT as well as giving me a great programme to do on my own. Great chat and the hour flies by. I injured my back during the six months (nothing to do with Sam's training!) and Sam came up with a slow, progressive weights workout using the machines for stability and my strength came back very quickly and I'm now using barbells. Would highly recommend training with Sam and I know that when I'm looking for more PT I will definitely be back to see Sam. Great trainer, sometimes therapist and all round brilliant guy ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 stars all the way! More...

I have been working with Sam since June and it's been awesome! I came across him purely by chance one day after I had joined the gym I popped in for a look around and we got chatting. He has helped me push myself towards my goals and really helped with nutrition and introduced me to a whole new way of eating.Sam is really supportive and very responsive to messages, everything is made simple and not full of gym jargon.I feel that not only am I closer than I have every been to achieving my goals but I have also made a friend.I look forward to continuing my fitness journey under the guidance of Sam.If anybody asked me about personal training I wouldn't hesitate to point them in the direction of Sam. I have been using Sam for 3 months for personal training, and couldn’t recommend him more. Sam truly understands his clients objectives and educates them on not only with workouts but also nutrition. I have become stronger, leaner and for the first time happy with my own body. Sam is an amazing support, he’s pushed me through my lows and celebrated every achievement I made. I had always been into the gym, but never got the results I was looking for until Sam educated me on why my body wasn’t changing. This guy will take you to a level of fitness you thought you’d never get to! Working with Sam was my first experience of a personal trainer and I don't think I could have chosen anyone better to guide me. He explains things clearly and makes the whole experience a lot less daunting for gym newbie. Being a 1 diabetic he opened my eyes to things that I had never even considered in my 20+ years of living with it and from that my overall health and well being has improved ten fold. At Manson Personal Training, your journey begins with our consultation. During this time we meet in a relaxed environment to do discuss your health and fitness goals. Information gathered will be used to tailor a workout and nutrition regime specifically for your goals. During our sessions together you will be taken through each exercise, learning the fundamental components of each movement and how to get the most from each and every workout. You will receive your own account where you have access to a database of workouts and nutrition plans tailored specifically for you. You will also have full access to a client Facebook support group for live videos on topics such as nutrition, workouts, exercises etc.

There is no secret. It takes hard work and determination whilst adhering to your workout and nutrition plan. Consistency is key.

The ability to inflict positive change on each individual I work with. Taking a person from their starting point to where they want to be and seeing that individual development physically and mentally throughout their journey.

I've always had a real passion for health and fitness. Personal Training allows me to do my favourite hobby as a career.
