I didn't spend much time in the casino, however I did have dinner at James Martin. The food here is excellent. The risotto is one of the best I've had. The variety and quality of the meat offered is excellent and cooked to perfection. Service was very prompt. More...

Great place if you are winning of course. James Martin's restaurant is within. He was actually there with his apron on, doing a bit which is unusual for celebrity chefs.

I really like this casino, they often have live music on by the bar area, not too loud so you still chat. Nice seating area at the bar, close to the action so you feel the buzz. Bar is a tad pricey but the place is quite up market. More...

The 1st date night my partner & I had at the start of our relationship, didn't book it we were just looking for a place to eat, & thankfully came across this diamond, the staff were brilliant, the food was spot on, was given some complimentary chips, gaming chips that is, don't think they'd have been happy with Maris piper chips with vinegar on the roulette cloth, won our cab fare home, impressed the good lady that much, she wants to marry me, I've told her if we stop eating out I may be able to afford too.

I have been here quite few times its my favourit cassino. I don't really like gambling but my partner does so we sometimes go in for an hour or so and I watch him play blackjack. I went here for my works Christmas doo and it was great we got a glass of bubbly on arrival, we then got to learn how to play blackjack which was really fun as never played before only ever watched my partner play. Then we had time to  have drinks with friends before we got took through for are meal it was a three course Christmas meal and it was really nice. After the meal we all went back into the cassino for more drink and some people went gambling I thought it was a great place for a Christmas doo and would definitely go there again.Me and my partner went in with some friends a couple of weeks ago and we got a massive cocktails to share they are good value at £38 as can easily be for 4-6 people. I love the decor in the cassino its really modern and spaces and the staff are really friendly defiantly a place to try even if it's just for a drink More...

I have been here several times due to my friends who always love a bit of a gamble at the end of the night. I don't gamble so I have always been here just for the bar and the people watch! I swear if you are a film maker or writer or just studying human behavior, go to a casino! You see all kinds of people with so many different kind of motives, facial expressions and much more! The bar is pretty nice, with reasonably priced drinks, I also happened to land up here on one of my birthday's and had the B52 shot here which is pretty damn nasty (In a good way). This place is open till the wee hours of the morning and has good music and a bar! Its the best place to come when you have been dancing till late in a club and you are still wanting more! Verdict: Doesn't matter if you like to gamble or not - You can still have fun here! More...

WOW! I've wanted to go to this place for FARRR too long. I'm not sure why, as I can only really play Blackjack, but the allure of this place has always urged me to go. First of all, entry is from what I can already tell an exclusive "Members only" policy. However luckily, you sign up on first entry for free. They take some of your personal information and create you an account, but from there it's all free roam .Past the lobby and it's Chinese themed restaurant is the "Poker" area, filled with poker tables and plays who I presume are professional. So...I avoided that. Head up two sets of escalators, and you're lead into a huge open-plan room littered with Roulette, fruit machines and various other card games. And what most people come to 235 for...The bar! GOD does it look modern and beautiful!! Set between two sets of stairs under the "Linen" restaurant.   For people who already know me I'm a cocktail guy, so my first purchase had to be bond themed ;) Dry martini, shaken not stirred with a lime taste.....I don't think bond had limes :S. and then an Apple mojito. Very well made. But back to the point. Both DELICIOUS!! Well worth the VERY costly £8 ish...Kind of....(Kyoto are nicer and better) But yes, overall a great place to hang-out if you exclude the cost of drinks. I mean, come on! I saw a bottle of wine for £300.00+!! Crazy.Great Casino/Bar and very modern if you like that sort of thing :)Also... The toilets are rather clean and awesome :) More...

The first time I was in here, was without my absolute will, because Casinos; I'm just not into the whole gambling with money deal. Oh well, I do enjoy the game though! Little did I know this place unfolds a full stacked posh bar- 'Fusion' and a restaurant 'Linen'. The decor and ambience grips you and transports you the moment you enter, the very Vegas look and feel to the place makes it very attractive and appealing to the eye and mind. You obviously need to I.D yourself (over 18's only) but the good thing is it registers you once and provides you with a card (very high-end must say!) and saves you the trouble of I.D-ing yourself every time you enter. It has poker tables to blackjack to roulette to slots along with complimentary drinks and sandwiches!!! (For students this is heaven!) The bar is situated at the back and has a very posh yet relaxed look with the most comfortable chairs I've ever sat on! The bartender is very friendly and caters even to customized shots on very girly requests! (Women can have the edge in this one!) Though, a little tight on the pocket, it's worth it owing to the atmosphere and quality.  The restaurant offers very modern British dining and comes with exciting wide range of wine selection from its own cellar. The special thing would be booking the chef's table which gives a view into the private kitchen showing a live performance of the art of cooking whilst enjoying your meal! Very unusual according to me! On weekends Fusion Bar is up for some class Dj's and live music giving it a perfect weekend tinge. So if you're confused about where to have that very classy evening followed by drinks and fun, try the Linen and then Fusion whilst winning some hands in poker! I actually quite like Fusion Bar in Manchester 235.I've ended up here a few times due to my bad habit of just not wanting to go home when the clubs close! ! It's open until 6am! 6AM!!!! That's just a silly time in the morning. Here's the strange thing, Manchester 235 is a casino but I don't gamble! I'm just not into it! It bores me! So I just go due to the fact it's a nicely decorated bar with good music, it's cheap (about £5 a cocktail but only £2 a pint!!!) and it's open late. Let the good times roll! Although it's a casino it does have an open door policy, you just need ID to get in, over 18s only obviously.235 also has a restaurants called Linen, I've eaten there but it was a part of a group so I have no idea of the prices but it was really good food and amazingly good service but we were in the Icon part...I think it's a bit different to the main restaurant!
