I recently finished a placement at LoveLove Films and I cannot express enough how wonderful the team there is. From my first day, I was treated as one of the team both in terms of being welcomed in by the people and in being given real production studio work.
Over my time I was able to work on numerous projects in numerous roles and never felt intimidated or uncomfortable with the workload at any point.
Originally, my placement was only supposed to last for one month but I enjoyed my time there so much that I asked to extend my placement multiple times. Before I left, the Managing Director, Georgina informed that they were currently without a position to fill and instead was instrumental in procuring me a job interview in another production studio that I succeeded in securing. Georgina worked with me on practice interviews and re-working my CV and, along with the entire team, was incredibly supportive of me.
LoveLove is truly a professional, fun, friendly and encouraging work environment that I will never forget.

The LoveLove team offered valuable experience in ways few places would be willing to trust a student with. They are encouraging, and genuinely want to see what their placements are capable of creatively!
The team themselves are an incredibly friendly bunch and I found it effortless integrating with them.
Not only did I come away from the placement having learned valuable skills but also with work I could add to my portfolio, and even that lovelove themselves seemed keen to share!

I would highly recommend doing a placement at LoveLove films; I learnt so much and from a really friendly and creative team who entrusted me to complete work most companies would not give with an intern.
From creating research mood boards to discussing my current filmic works, LoveLove films have supported me in so many ways, and is an experience I will draw upon for the rest of my career.

What do you love most about your job?
What gets you excited at work?
The thing that gets me most excited at work is seeing the team take a project from a client’s bullet points or brief to a fantastic looking complete animation or video. Im lucky to have such a lovely and creative team that love what they do and we all get on so well so it’s a really fun and exciting environment
Without sounding too cringy, it’s hard to pin point our best day in business. We are all very fortunate to work in an incredibly creative and fun environment, but I’m also always excited when we have big shoot days or projects. Joss Stone’s The Love We Had video shoot was great fun, as it had a large crew. Although we had to get a lot of shooting done over the couple of days, it was great to see the crew and the team come together and we got to experiment on that shoot and the animators even built a rain machin . Watching our first TV commercial pop up on TV was also a really proud moment for the team Its still strange when your sat with a cupa on the sofa and something your team producedpops up on TV .
What inspired you to start your own business?
I started my carrer working for Gulf News - Friday Magazine a weekly magazine for all the family in Dubai in the UAE as Head fashion coordinator and loved the buzz of organising castings managing shoots and writing the after this experience I really wanted to move into moving images and decided to do a Degree at BU and After working for numerious productio companies I formed Lovelove Films in 2010
