I dance ballet and really needed flexibility training in addition to the technical training - had a class at London Dance Academy and it was wonderful. Lots and lots of classes and incredible level of instructors - Hannah won UKPPC two years in a row and Anna also won her category in UKPPC too.
Pole hire is affordable and classes on contortion I highly recommend, Pixie is lovely. All in all it has plenty of classes for everyone.

Me and my husband found the lesson specially bonding. We learned not only how to stretch, but how to breath, and release pain together. It is ideal for those who have over-stretch, continuously workout, or want a more gentile approach.

The session started with an unexpected ice breaker, in which each individual was kindly asked about their feelings in the moment, their day and their general existential and physical wellbeing.
Based upon the overall feedback and energy of the group, followed a relaxed, but at times, challenging program- which consisted of pranayama breathing exercises and yoga postures, combined with deep stretching and partnered exercises such as: head stands and back bridges. The session played out in a seamless fashion, with an emphasis on warming the body, focusing the senses and controlling breath.
Melissa's hands on attention to the group was particularly patient, encouraging and intuitive- with no moment feeling out of place or forced. We felt deeply involved in the instruction, which enhanced a timeless quality to the experience. More...

Fantastic location and beautiful studio. The staff are all very friendly and supportive. I have attended a number of different classes at LDA and have always been very impressed with the professionalism and creativity of the whole operation. Cannot recommend highly enough!

I had a few private Pole lessons with Makeda, who is an exceptional teacher: Inspiring, motivating, precise in her demonstrations and instructions and always patiently working on improvements while making the whole lesson a great workout and a lot of fun.
