LKD Home Improvement should not trade at all! I hired this guy Lee Duncan and made a mistake of putting pelmet on top of the kitchen wall unit instead of cornice. That's fine everybody can make a mistake, He said that he couldnt understand the kitchen plan properly & besides there was no cornice delivered. So I said I'll phone the Wren Kitchen to order the cornice and he said OH NO I'M NOT GONNA DO THAT AGAIN! He threatened that he'll walk out from the job and will not continue to do the rest but he'll still billed me to the part that he'd done so I had no choice but to gave in and settled for the pelmet. I actually took a 4days annual leave for this kitchen. I thought I have to be civil for this matter and just accept the pelmet but later on when the guy from Wren Kitchen came to template the worktop, he couldn't template it. He said that the cupboards are not level and squint. He said that the sink wasn't fitted correctly. I actually said to the guy that I gave permission for Mr Duncan to fit the sink facing the other way around because Mr Duncan explained that the pipe wasn't long enough and that if I'll put too much water it'll overflow and will flooded the kitchen. The guy said no it won't, he said it should be remove and correct it. The guy got his own copy of the plan, the same what Mr Duncan was complaining about, in fact Mr Duncan even visited Wren Kitchen and asked for another copy of the plan. The guy also commented on my single wall unit that there should be a pillars in each side that's why the other width of the wall is wider than the other side of the window of the wall units. I mentioned to the guy that Mr Duncan already made a mistake with the pelmet but refused to correct it so I had no choice but to accept it because he said he doesn't want to continue anymore. The guy also noticed that Mr Duncan only put a wooden panel on one side of the cooker's cupboards. I didn't noticed this until the guy told me. The guy said there should be wooden panels on all sides to make the cupboards even. I already gave Mr Duncan £1,200 and he supposed to come back to finish the rest of my kitchen by June 6 because he hasn't done the bottom of the kitchen cupboard yet and the end of the fridge cupboard as I still have to wait for some of the materials to deliver. I was very upset to find out that there are more mistakes so I phoned the Wren Kitchen & cancelled my orders and ordered the right materials for the kitchen. I phoned Mr Duncan about this and informed him everything and told him that the a guy advised me to stand up for myself and not to accept his mistake. I paid for all materials so I should be entitled to get the right design of my kitchen. If Mr Dubcan was concerned he should have phoned the Wren Kitchen and ask them of some parts that he wasn't sure of. The design of my kitchen is there on display so they can easily tell him. I also have the drawings of it and anybody can see clearly that it's cornice not pelmet but he just took the liberty of putting the pelmet instead without asking me. More...

Lee totally renovated 2 of my 3 bedrooms, reframed, insulated, & plasterboard walls, finished (in all 3 bedrooms) with new skirtings, door housings, facings & doors c/w all fixings.
All supplied & fitted in a professional manner, troubleshooting & courteous throughout.
Highly recommended this carpenter.
