Laura is fantastic. Being an older bride, but one that wears some make up everyday I wanted my make up to stand out from everyday but not ‘over done. ’ Laura knew exactly what to do and the results were amazing. Laura is really lovely and honest. She was a joy to have supporting and beautifying me for my wedding day. My hair and makeup lasted the entire day and night, and the prep in the morning was super calm, with no problems at all. I cannot recommend Laura enough - for my wedding recently, she styled mine and my 5 bridesmaids hair.
The hair speaks for itself, Laura is extremely talented, professional, and her work is beautiful.
I had 2 trials with her because I am fairly indecisive, Laura was extremely understanding and considerate, she helped me find the look I was after which I could not have done on my own.
One of the most important things is that she can understand the vision you have and bring it to life.
Laura is amazing at what she does, and on top of that such a sweet person and joy to be around.

Laura-Jane was brilliant from start to finish. We did a trial where I showed her a picture of my ideal hair, which she replicated exactly in no time at all! At my trial and on the day Laura-Jane is a great person to have around, we chatted away easily - no small talk or awkward silences just relaxing chat. On my wedding day my hair was absolutely perfect, in the interim Laura had thought about how she'd initially done it and made some changes which she talked me through. She was also thoughtful enough to show my bridesmaid how to take out my veil without destroying my hair - little thoughtful things that make a huge difference.

Laura-Jane is a fantastic hair and make-up artist and I would recommend her in a heartbeat. She was able to fit in my trial and wedding day at short notice and did a stunning job of both mine and my sister's hair and make-up.

I'd especially recommend her if you have short hair as I found it really difficult to find someone with experience of bridal short hair styles. I'd recommend being open to her suggestions and ideas because at my trial I had something specific in mind (because that's all I thought I could do with my hair length) but she created an amazing style and included a real flower as a hair accessory that I didn't even realise was possible. Laura-Jane did an amazing job on my bridal make-up last October. I found her quite late in the process and didn't live near where we were getting married so arranging a trial was a little hectic but Laura-Jane was really accommodating. She gave excellent advice and took my ideas on board. She was fantastic on the day, really calm and lovely to chat to! Laura did an outstanding job of my hair and make-up for my wedding – I couldn’t have been happier with the look she gave me. For a very affordable price she also did make-up for my mum and bridesmaids. She was brilliant to work with from start to finish and was a very calming influence on the day when everything was manic and chaotic as everyone was getting reading in my flat. She helped me create my look in a taster session at my house a few months prior to the wedding where we played around with different hairstyles and make-up. She listened to everything I said and gave me the exact look I wanted. I felt very confident that my bridal party and I would be in safe hands. Laura was very friendly to work with and very flexible. Laura is AMAZING! Don't search any further for hair and make up services -- this lady is beyond brilliant! She styled my hair for a wedding last year, and I was on a short time frame before I had to leave my flat. She was in and out within 20 minutes and her work was simply stunning -- I couldn't believe how fast she worked! Not only that, but her company was so enjoyable that it didn't even feel like 20 minutes. Her friendly, comfortable approach instantly relaxes you knowing you are in incredibly capable hands!
Laura also worked for me when I had some acting head shots taken by a photographer about a month ago. She styled my hair and also did my make up for the shoot. I got compliments all evening on how well she had done my make up and she knew exactly what to use to make my features stand out in the photographs. Again, her fast pace and friendly nature allowed me to feel relaxed and have complete confidence in her.
Not only is her work incredible, but she goes above and beyond to make your experience with her enjoyable. She even gave me amazing advice on my clothing for my photo shoot, as well as helping me to pack up all my things at the end.

On the day of my wedding, I was very nervous. Laura arrived at the venue like a breath of fresh air. I felt in safe hand as she styled my hair and applied my make up. The result She made me look my very best.

She listens to the look you want and helps you to achieve it. She is warm and chatty and helps you to feel at ease.
