Had a wonderful time with Jamie as guide and Kirstie helping. They were a real joy. Jamie has best in class knowledge of the music, recording technology, anecdotes of the Lads, family histories, . . really brings the Beatles to a personal level. Our bike tour with Phil was the best tour yet. It was absolutely amazing. The bikes were easy to use & so much fun. Phil was a great tour guide. He was extremely knowledgeable about Beatle history as well as Liverpool. The way he planned the tour was simply perfect. We had a lovely break at strawberry field; time for tea, toilet & some peaceful reflection. Buzzing through the streets of Liverpool with Beatles music blaring was an unforgettable experience for us. Phil even insisted on keeping us dry when a bit of rain came, out came waterproof pants for us. Thank you Phil, so much for the great, informative tour & for the many laughs along the way. Went for the Beatles but fell completely in love with Liverpool! Fantastic tour (and guide) with tons of Beatles information, and a great way to see the city. Phil was an amazing guide. Took my wife and I on a really nice tour around central Liverpool. Others tend to tell me that Liverpool was good for only soccer but the tour rubbished that completely. It was really enjoyable listening to Phil talk about his city, which he is clearly extremely knowledgeable and passionate about. Although it was just the two of us who signed up for the tour, in winter no less, Phil took the time to really take us around, and was really patient with our questions and took good care of us. I recently went on the Beatles Bike tour and it was fantastic. Our group was small only four people. Our guide, Phil was amazing, knowledgable, friendly and provided interesting anecdotes and information along the way. It's definitely an excellent way to see and learn about Liverpool and some of it's favourite sons and provides an experience different from the usual city/themed tours. There are some hills and a degree of fitness is required however my group and Phil were very patient and it truly was a great way to spend an afternoon. Highly recommended tour. More...
