What inspired you to start your own business?
After leaving the Army (REME) we had our carpets cleaned by a local carpet cleaner a couple of times and both times the work was less than satisfactory, marks were still in the carpet and they were left very wet. I decided then that there must be better, more professional cleaners out there than this. However after much searching around the local area, (30 mile radius) it was impossible to find anyone other than guys using the same systems and techniques.
I decided then that I could do a better job myself and set up Lionheart Cleaning in 2003.
We now employ 20+ staff all from the local area and cover all aspects of cleaning for both domestic and commercial clients throughout Northumberland, Newcastle and North Tyneside.
