Lauren is a fantastic make up artist! I could not ask for better. I do not normally wear make up, and Lauren created a look for my wedding day that made me feel comfortable, ‘made up’ but looking like me. Having visited a number of MUA's for different occasions, choosing the right MUA for my wedding was really important to me. I had two trials with Lauren leading up to the wedding as I needed to feel completely confident in the look we were trying to achieve (one was probably enough, but I'm a bit fussy). What do you love most about your job?
Everyday I get to work with wonderful people on the day of their wedding or whilst preparing for it (through a trial). This is a true privilege.
As every bride is different so too is every work day for me. I create exactly the look my client(s) wants, and as each person is unique so to is the look they want.
What inspired you to start your own business?
By having my own business I am able to work with a bride in exactly the way she wants me to.
We will work together to create your perfect look, and I will available to you before and during the day as much or at little as you need.
Why should our clients choose you?
I will work with you to create the look that you want.
I understand the stresses that come with a wedding day. I will work with you (and your entourage if applicable) to create as calm an environment as possible. In addition to my makeup kit I will also be armed with paracetamol and other helpful extras that over time I have learnt are essential items in a wedding makeup artists kit!
In 2018 I was nominated as best makeup artist in the North West at The Wedding Industry Awards, received a certificate of excellence from Bark and await the results of my nomination in the Bridebook awards.
My work was also featured in two editions of 'Your North West Wedding', 'Cheshire Bride' and ' The Boho Blog' in 2018.
I have also worked on beauty features for confetti.co.uk and I am a beauty feature writer for 'Matrimony Magazine'.
