House was absolutely filthy when we moved in, despite Landlords 2 saying it had been 'professionally cleaned'. Having complained about the dirty condition, Landlords 2 did not offer to do anything about it or refund and rent for the time we had to spend cleaning up. The garden was overgrown and the grass hadn't been cut in ages. Most of the lightbulbs were the old high energy filament type (very important at the moment) and quite a few were blown - the main bedroom light was a 25W bulb! We had to request control of the heating system which was app controlled - someone else could control the heating! There was a lot of undocumented damage. Not a good experience! I have a few properties in Darlington which weren’t being managed very well, and I also needed a new tenant for one of them. I came across the Landlords2 website by chance, and was impressed by their claim of not charging tenants any agency admin fees. I know prospective tenants can be put off by large agencies charging expensive admin fees, and it made sense to use an agency who didn’t. Not only have Landlords2 found me excellent tenants, they’ve also project-managed the complete refurbishment of one of my three bedroomed houses, and as I write this, they’ve found prospective tenants for the house too!
