So a few weeks ago Jack drew a cartoon of my husband and I after we featured in Lancaster Guardian having lost 13.5 st between us with Slimming World ( India’s Slimming World - St Paul’s Church, Scotforth group in Lancaster if you want to give it a try. ..google her....I promise you it’s worth it!) so we loved the cartoon and contacted him to order a print.....great service, easy to deal with and loads of food humour along the way. Because lots of people have been asking.... my beautiful BRAND STORIES business cards were designed, initially from my sketch scribbles on the back of a catalogue, and refined by the hugely talented Jack Knight.
He has been a pleasure to work with from start to finish. He understood my brief from day 1 and produced concepts and ideas which he managed to read from my mind in super quick time...even working on it whilst he was on holiday .
His attention to detail matches mine, which is no mean feat and he has been super-patient with amends.

We asked Jack to come up with a cartoon graphic for a kickstarter project. We wanted something fresh and fun that would be cool and appeal to teenagers.
we needed graphics to go on t-shirts, pin badges etc.
Jack was easy to work with - understood the brief - tweaked the designs to our request and then provided all the "sample images" we needed on badges and t-shirts etc too so the project was ready to go as soon as the work was done.
While working on those designs he also saw a need to improve the images on another project and free of charge adjusted those and sent them back to us to make the project look better too.
We can't wait to go ahead with the project on Kickstarter!

I found Jack at an event in Blackpool in 2014, and fell in love with his incredible art work. Fast forward a couple of months and when I was looking for an eye catching banner for my business, I knew Jack was the man for the job. Working with Jack was so easy - we brainstormed ideas and he very quickly drew up with a rough idea for me to approve. He was very accommodating of my slightly divaish requests for changes, and within no time at all I had a stunning piece of artwork that was all ready for the printers. The finished design looks incredible, and it ALWAYS draws attention to my stall at events, which is precisely what I wanted it to do! The first time, working on a business card design, I was so surprised by his genuine creativity. What do you love most about your job?
I love being able to take a client's vision and bring it out onto the paper for them. I love the face that every day can be different and it's always fresh and exciting. My favourite projects involve creating characters for marketing campaigns but I also have a great fondness for intricately detailed colouring in designs for the "grown up" market.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Ultimately, it was becoming a dad.
Art and creativity has always been a huge part of my life, and for a while after university I was a makeup artist and prop builder, travelling around the country. Becoming a dad meant that the travelling had to come to an end so naturally I channeled the passion for creativity into illustration where it took root and flourished.
