What Mark accomplished with our wedding is everything we could have possibly hoped for. Mark understood what we wanted and he understood what we needed, because he made sure to understand us in a kind but not naive way, without losing sight of what he imagined for us. From the first time we met at my in-law's kitchen table until the very last champagne flute was packed away, he made everything happen in a magical way; our wedding day was filled with magical love and joy, and Mark was the magician snapping his fingers to make it happen. Planning a wedding has so many challenges. From when we (and our families) met him, Mark made sure that everyone was heard, but he could also help us make hard decisions, and this meant that he helped us all find a way to get through the differences that always come up in planning a wedding. It was all the more complicated, because we were doing this from overseas and in only three months. What would have seemed impossible was made possible by Mark. We never doubted that we were right to be so confident in Mark. He had an eye on every single thing that happened on our special day and guided the whole wedding into something that was just perfect. Mark was there for every person, every worry, every decision, every happy or stressed discussion, from our first chat to the final clean-up.We could not imagine doing this without Mark. He brought his organization, skills, kindness, integrity, conviction and charm to the day. The food was delicious from the appetizers to the cake. On the day, his team was attentive and kind, adding to the joy. And throughout the preparations, he worked wonderfully with the other people involved, always representing us perfectly and making sure that they did everything right.More than anything, our wedding was about love, and Mark brought his own love and joy to the day. We are so grateful to Mark for everything he did--throughout the whole experience, he was our chef, our concierge, a cupid, a counselor, a cheeky chaperone, and, most of all, a cherished participant in our happy day.
