This place makes going to the gym actually fun. The staff are always friendly and willing to help and the owners are lovely, always saying hello and encouraging you. The gym area and pool are always clean and tidy too. Good selection of classes to keep you spoilt for choice and if a class isn’t your things there’s looooooads of equipment to stay busy on, no matter what your goal is. The pool isn’t too big that it’s daunting but it’s big enough for everyone to have space to swim properly, it’s relaxing and a calm space to relax after being upstairs. It’s not a snobby gym full of big strong people, it’s a mix of real people there to work out. No judging, no unwanted attention and no “I’m better than you”, it’s super inclusive. More...

I've been a member since January 2019, I love the place everyone friendly staff and customer a like! Every where clean staff have alway been helpful even rang me when I didn't return after first visit as I'd found out I had broken my shoulder, they even offered to put my membership on pause but as knew the pool would help with my physio I never saw the point! I think it says a great deal about the place no other gym has offered this to me and I know I'm not the only one they helped this way! It was my first day at Kingfisher yesterday, I enjoyed the Bar Blast class with Gaston and I can't walk today so it definetly worked, nice sauna and steam too but the jacuzzi could have done with some more bubbles

Kingfisher Health Club is a truly incredible facility to be a member of! Every aspect of the club is genuinely inviting. The staff (and owners) are always friendly offering a warm welcome at the door, the classes (I've done Spinning and Zumba) are high energy and motivational, the shower rooms, steam room, the pool, are all exceptionally clean and tidy with great amenities. Love this gym I looked at others before joining and they were full of young kids hogging equipment while on there phones. Due to the lovely staff, owners who always have time for a hello and a chat and especially Gaston who has literally worked my ass off, I would recommend this gym to everyone.

I have been a member for many years and found it to be a really friendly,comfortable and clean place run by professionals, who go out of their way to care about you as an individual! I had a health scare(Cancer) 2 years ago and had to suspend my membership for 4 months!This was done without question and following a successful operation, even before I could physically start exercise again, I was encouraged to use it as a meeting place to eat, socialise and catch up with my gym buddies for free!At the time, it was such a lifeline and a key part of my rehabilitation. I have never really been able to express my profound thanks properly to Julie Alan and their staff.They were and still are a godsend! Thanks again,Congratulations and good luck in the final! I love it here! The facilities are well kept and so good! Before I joined I was very nervous about the gym especially swimming.
I now gym Monday to Thursday as well as doing aqua aerobics and Zumba. Chris from aqua aerobics was very patient with me as I was very nervous about getting in the water and made me feel very safe, and Jade who does Zumba is amazing and fun and is patient with the fact I never can do the fancy bits �! Daryl who did my fitness plan helped me grow confident with all of the machines and still keeps up to date with how I’m doing.
It’s definitely worth the money here and the staff are fantastic!

I was about hesitant about becoming a member due to the cost compare to everywhere else but I bit the bullet and decided to. It was a good choice, All the equipment are in top shape and up to date, the place is clean, offers swimming pool, sauna and just opened Spa and they have a Boditrax machine which record everything of your body.The staff are brilliant and friendly to say the least.You pay the higher price for what you get and it’s worth the money.Only downside I would say is the kids swimming on a Saturday between 10-12 to where it’s packed with kids at the pool. I guess choosing a gym is a very personal choice and what appeals to one person won't to another. So why do I like here? It's local to me and there is plenty of on-street parking nearby so it doesn't take a long time to park up and walk in.The gym is well-lit particularly with natural light from outside which makes it feel nicer inside.There is a "family-feel" to the place which comes from not just the owners but also the staff, all of whom are happy to stop and have a word with you.The personal trainers certainly "know their stuff" and there are plenty of them to choose from to suit your style of training.There is a nice cafe there as well serving healthy snacks post workout. Or even something a little bit naughty to treat yourself with (but only if you've worked hard).It has all the equipment that you would expect in a gym. More...

This gym is more expensive than Life Leisure across the road but it has more of an exclusive feel. The pool and sauna / steam room sets it apart, parking is usually no problem. They do food during the day too.
