Kidderminster Guitar Lessons

My first lesson was so much fun thank you Matt, im really happy I can't wait for the next lesson,This is my 3rd attempt at having lessons and I'm so happy to finally find a teacher who can get me on track. I've had two teachers previous to finding matt and Ive had periods where I havnt played much. My last teacher wasn't very good and didn't really inspire me to play or practice. My first lesson with Matt was amazing he explained everything so easily, he created the lesson based on my love for blues and rock and he managed to merge together everything so I already understand what a key is for the first time ever and I can already improvise over a basic 12 bar. He gave me two exercises covering 4 songs I really love and everything just fit. I loved it so much i cant wait for the next lesson. My son has been having lessons with Matt for over a year now and he loves it. At first he didn't really play his guitar but when matt started teaching him he asked josh what his favourite music was and started there. He plays so much now and is actually studying for his grade 3 in winter and he never wanted to do grades. I've been playing for years and I had lessons when I first started but for the past 5 years I've been doing things myself mostly because ive not been able to find or trust a teacher to be good enough to advance me forward. I can play a alot of vai and satriani styles songs so Ive always thought my technique was good but I've been stuck with my speed and accuracy, also I've just recently started trying to play faster stuff especially malmsteen because I want to become good with my sweep picking and picking in general so I figured I would try and find a teacher but again I had the same trouble. I found a couple of teachers who assured me they could help but they couldn't play technical at all but then I found matt who's without a doubt a technically phenomenal player. He's been teaching me now for about 4 months and ive advanced so much. He's fixed a lot of bad habits and helped me get through the speeds I was struggling with and my sweep picking is starting to sound awesome. Thanks matt More...
