Huge thank you to Kate for such a great job on my occasion make-up last week. I wasn’t really sure what I wanted the end results to look like as I don’t wear much make-up, and when I do it’s usually the same each time. Kate was able to create a great look that was perfect. The overall look felt light and comfortable, using colours I wouldn’t normally wear and I received lots of complements too. Kate was very knowledge about skin care, giving hints and tips as we went, and didn’t mind the constant questions I asked about products and techniques. Kate did the make up for both the engagement shoot and our wedding and she did an amazing job. I looked glamorous, flawless and still “me”.
The fear is that you’ll look too made up and I didn’t, I was just an improved version of me. Not only that but Kate’s calm, relaxed yet professional attitude helped ease my nerves and she happily gave her advice on lacing up my dress when we got stuck getting ready.
When you organise a wedding there a number of things that end up being moved from the “must have” list to the “nice to have” list. A professional make up artist should not be one of these things. I cannot recommend Kate enough and look forward to working with her again.
