Have a hart gives you a chance to achieve goals you thought you no longer could. Mark and Jess are supportive and motivating. They give you every opportunity to improve in a fun and creative environment (and Jess has great music taste that keeps you pushing through in spin class!). I joined Mark to get healthier and lose a bit of weight. I achieved this but much more as the classes were great fun and full of friendly like minded people. Mark kept things varied and interesting and always provided just the right level of challenge to keep things interesting! Would highly recommend. More...

I joined Have a Hart Fitness in August 2018 following a friends recommendation. I had lost a large amount of weight but recognised that I still needed to get fit and now tone up. I had never been to a main stream gym as i didnt feel confident enough to do this but I was assured by my friend the small group training would be a great way to start a fitness journey. I signed up on the 8 week kickstart and on my first session, instantly felt at ease, the group of ladies were lovely and supportive. When I finished the 8 weeks, I changed my membership so I could be more flexible with the sessions over the week, I have maintained coming 3 times a week, feel stronger and fitter than i have ever been. What really makes the difference is the individual support Mark and Jess give, especially on difficult days when its dig deep time. It has helped me understand about food and exercise in a way that is easier to relate to my personal situation and they are not just there to run the training but look after your body and mind. What I really like is that every session is differnet, no sessions are ever the same and it is tailored to my needs. All the people in the groups are supportive and we all help each other. I am looking forward to getting my weight lower and keep increasing my strength as I can really feel the benefits now. I would definately recommend to anyone who wants to improve their health in a lovely smaller setting. More...

Have a Hart Fitness is small, friendly and holistic. I have been a member for 7 months. I joined with zero fitness and out of control diabetes. I’ve been going to Mark for the last 8 weeks and I can honestly say it has kept me sane. Exercise for me is the best medicine in the world, but I do need a push sometimes. Mark has helped me out of a huge depression, and shown me how exercise can help both body and mind. The workouts are great and are pitched at just the right level, the groups are small and everyone is extremely friendly. Mark offers support and understanding and has lots of useful advice. I would highly recommend Have a Hart Fitness to anyone that wants to improve their life. More...

Kaine and Igor are both great at what they do. The design and build phase of our new website took much less time than expected and proved to be exceptional value for money. They found creative solutions to technical problems and created a site that feels fresh and exciting while remaining corporate and professional. I Attended a 6week course 3times a week. I Had not been physically able to do much exercise but joining Mark I am now feeling fitter and am able to walk further than I have in a long time . I am carrying on at home with some of the exercises . Being over fifty at first it was hard but have got fitter and more positive . I joined Have a Hart in December 2017 and did the 3 sessions a week for a year I am now much healthy and fitter. Mark and Jess are so supportive and will always be there to advise and guide you. Would highly recommend joining.

Have a Hart Fitness has changed my life. That may sound dramatic but it's true. I joined in 2017 after reaching quite a low - very overweight and with health problems. From the moment I contacted Mark I received a warm welcome and so I signed up to the transformation programme/Programme You. I continue to train 3 times a week, fitting this round my full time work and commitments. I can't recommend Have a Hart highly enough. I was never made to feel ashamed or embarrassed, just provided with plenty of support, advice and motivation. To date I have lost just over 6 stone - I have so much more energy and my health has improved massively. Mark and Jess have built a wonderful community which I am proud to be a part of. I have been going to Have a Hart fitness for 9 months now. Mark has really helped me get my form right and has enabled me to progress well in small group training. It's a great atmosphere in the sessions, shared with other like-minded women who really encourage each other, making it fun and easy to attend. There is also nutritional and mindset advice and a monthly check-in call with Mark to ensure you keep heading in the right direction. More...

We wanted to get our website re-designed as it was getting disorganised and cluttered. As someone who is not very technical, Kaine was very patient, helping guide us through the process. He came up with some great ideas which we hadn't even thought of and we are really pleased with the results. Both Mark and Jess are passionate about the class's they deliver, Jess does a fantastic Group Cycling class on a Monday and Friday to kick start the weekend, if you need a Personal Trainer then Mark is your guy, I suffered with a severely frozen shoulder with Mark's expertise and help my recovery time was greatly reduced. I was caught up being a busy mum of 2 young children not doing anything for myself, not finding time to eat properly, if at all or exercise. My husband stated the men's transformation and I saw a massive difference in him and realised how unhealthy our lives were and it had to change. Joining the ladies transformation group has changed my way of thinking about food and exercise and that I can find time and it can be enjoyable. I do the classses before the kids wake up and then I'm ready for the day ! All the ladies in the group are lovely and Mark and Jess are very encouraging and knowledgeable and don't make you feel intimidated at all. I feel a lot fitter and have more energy. I can now run 3km whereasi couldn't even go upstairs without being out of breath. I am very proud of how much I have achieved and how much things have changed for me in such a short space of time. I sustained a lower back injury in January 2017 and spent months of frustration not being able to train. Not training then became a habit. I went from 84kgs to 97kgs and was constantly tired and had become self conscious about my weight.

I decided to make a change and found Mark via a google search. I contacted Mark and he explained that there was a space on the men’s transformation training sessions. The numbers are limited so the training is more focused. The other lads are great and there’s no egos in the group. I have lost just over 6 Kgs in 6 weeks and am feeling fitter and stronger.
Losing weight and training regularly has stopped my constant tiredness. I’m making better eating choices now and will continue to train with Mark for the foreseeable future.

We love how easy the site is to update, adding events and blog posts takes half of the time it used to. The documentation provided is crystal clear and so training staff up on managing the site has been an incredibly simple process.

I have been using Have a Hart for about 4 months now and have never looked back after taking the plunge to get some fitness back. Rather than joining one of the many gyms out there and having every excuse why I'll give it a miss and having no direction when you do turn up I thought having a personal trainer like Mark who is genuinely interested in me and my fitness would be the best thing for me. Mark has developed a program especially for my own requirements and goals. In this time my fitness has greatly improved, my body shape has changed and I can now start to see that the hard work is paying off and it is hard work . I feel better in myself mentally and physically. All of you who already use Mark at Have a Hart will probably understand how it changes your outlook for those that don't Give it a go !!! I approached Mark earlier in the year as I wanted to build some upper body strength to help improve my running and football. I was a complete beginner to the gym and had very little experience in any weights exercises. In his own time he kindly set up a program for me to follow to meet my needs and gave me some 1 on 1 sessions. I found Mark such great help and he was a great motivator. Since going to these sessions I have found that my running and the strength side of things in football has massively improved. I have been attending marks class since it started 2 years ago. I enjoy the format of circuits but every week is always different, sometimes equipment or just body weight with team and group work. Mark is really motivating, inspiring and very experienced.
The new indoor cycling class is amazing, upbeat, fresh and loads of fun!
I have also enjoyed many personal training sessions at his private gym. The gym is well equipped, clean with a great location with amazing views of Eastbourne. Since I have been training with Mark at his classes and gym I have managed to maintain my weight continuously improve my fitness.
