Julie Paul is an outstandingly talented interior designer. The understated elegance and timeless sophistication of her designs effortlessly combine tradition with modernity. When building our home in Switzerland a few years ago, we asked our architect for a new interpretation of a classical country mansion. It was clear to us from the outset that Julie‘s interior style would perfectly complement the architectural design of the house. We therefore approached Julie very early in the planning stage and kept her closely involved throughout the months of construction. Her expertise proved invaluable at every stage of the building process, extending far beyond a mere selection of furniture to encompass ideas for color schemes and textiles as well as for accessories and curtain fittings. I had the pleasure of working with Julie Paul and her team for a second time last year. I found yet again that her expertise of scale and attention to detail proved to be invaluable. She coordinated with the contractor and oversaw all the finishing details so that all my requirements were met. The end result was an interior that was classic with a contemporary twist, which was exactly what I had requested. Julie Paul Interiors made our lovely cottage what it is today comfort and a touch of luxury, we didn’t want new modern furniture Julie suggested we had our existing sofa and chairs reupholstered new carpets and soft texture accessories. Each room was colour coordinated with an extensive choice of fabrics, wall paper and paints. She has a flair a very talented and experienced interior designer using professional trades people. I have used Julie Paul’s services on at least two occasions now…for two of my properties – renovating one for sale and to furnish the new house. All I can say is, Julie has a great eye for detail and design. Listened to my requirements and offered me ideas and schemes to which I can chose from – advises me what works well i.e. what sort of curtain (roman blinds or other), what fabric for the blinds (colour and design – based on the room size and configuration) works best for the furnishing in the room. The new house feels very homely, with all the homely comforts – pleasing to come back to after work and pleasing on the eye…with a touch of decadence (and why not).I would definitely use Julie Paul’s services again.
