JTP Joinery have just completed repair work on our driveway gates which had been badly damaged when a delivery van had run into them. The team was very extremely professional from the outset when Phil made an early visit to assess the problem right the way through to completion of the joinery work and the re-painting. It is now impossible to believe there ever was a problem as the replacement panels of the damaged gate blend perfectly with those of its undamaged "twin".We are delighted with the work and we found Phil and everyone who came to site to be very pleasant besides being very competent. JTP Windows replaced the 5 windows on the front of our house. Being Grade 2 Listed and in the National Park, Listed Building Consent was required and this was only granted on the basis that the new windows were "like for like". Phil negotiated with the Planning Officer on our behalf and was key to us securing LBC. When the windows were fitted, the JTP team were professional, polite and courteous and took obvious pride in their work, removing all waste from the site. I had several 'window' jobs done at the same time: replacement of 'DIY' double glazing in 4 windows and the repair of 2 broken sash mechanisms to 2 upstairs windows. Regarding the sash repair: JTP Joinery were able to advise me about the repairs to the sash windows, as the house itself is in a Conservation Area. Downstairs, 2 of the windows were reglazed and opened (previously painted shut). Finally, a very unusual window was remodelled, so that it opened out slightly from the top, without losing privacy (the window opens directly to a lane at street level. The JTP staff were courteous and thoughtful, when communicating with my mother who has dementia. They worked quickly and tidied up completely at the end of the job. 18 months ago JTP replaced our old wooden framed, sash windows with hardwood double glazed units to the front of our 100 year old house. This firm specialises in windows and doors and one of its great assets is that it will mend as well as replace and also paint and fit if required. I was very happy with my initial consultation and then the refurbishment of the box of a dilapidated sash window and the making and fitting of two new sashes. JTP Joinery recently replaced 15 large windows with new double glazed hardwood sash and casement windows to our large Victorian house (currently undergoing major restoration) high up in the Dartmoor National Park.
