I hired John to provide some 'magical entertainment' as part of my husband' s surprise 70th birthday party. John was polite and courteous from the outset when arranging the booking and always replied promptly. We discussed requirements and agreed on an initial 'stage' show followed by some 'table' magic. John arrived promptly at the venue and performed a variety of tricks using mind reading, ESP and telepathy to name but a few. Logistically, very well organised and seamless before the day.

On the day, John was personable, funny and of course, magical! I’m guessing that wasn’t his first rodeo. The timing of what he delivered worked really well in the day. He was very inclusive, appealing to a wide range of ages within the group. His act was polished and his tricks baffled even the most cynical of guests.

We re-scheduled a postponed charity event from July 2021 (due to not moving out of Step 3 to Step 4 re: Covid)
It was meant to be an Opsrey Cruise on Rutland Water on board the Rutland Belle for 70 plus guests.
Re-arranged for September 14th - problem - no Osprey (they had all flown away to warmer climes) So we had the canapes, the prosecco and the guests what about the entertainment.
Solution - live music and a magician to work his way around the boat mingling in with the guests doing close up magic tricks. John Taylor from JR Magic was my saviour and his professionalism, skill and charm along with being very well dressed helped to make what could have been an awkward evening a very enjoyable one.
Everyone loved his magic work and were genuinely amazed by some of his mind game tricks.
I would thoroughly recommend John - he is very professional and above all is very adaptable to the situation. After all, who else could entertain a group of 70 people on board a boat (indoor and outdoor) on a cold damp evening in September with no Osprey and still be a success.
