We attended a party where Josh was hosting and it was absolutely fantastic! He kept the children entertained for two hours no problem and all of them got involved and thoroughly enjoyed the party. We organised a party with 38 children between 5 and 6 years old. Josh was amazing. All 38 were engaging and laughing and having a great time. I contacted josh a few months ago and asked whether he would be interested in doing a charity event I organised in memory of my nephew. I was a little apprehensive as it was a big ask as I was totally reliant on people’s generosity and kindness. Needless to say I need not have worried, there was no hesitation josh said yes and was amazing throughout the organising. On the day he was amazing and brought along his friend dan from black rock reptiles. They entertained the kids all day and were a massive hit. After seeing josh perform at a holiday park last summer we booked him to provide enetertainment for our Christmas party. For the price An did what he provided I cannot fault the guy! How long have you been interested in magic?
I have been interested in magic since a very young age , I have been part of TV shows too, including- max magic and Tricky TV .I have been performing for over 15 years. I have been a part of the magic circle for 10 years and for the past 5 been working on holiday parks around the UK, showcasing my cabaret show, you may have even seen me at Butlins or John Fowler's!
Take us through your show – what can we expect?
The childrens show:-
This is 45 mins-1 hour long depending on the audience. I incorporate lots of tricks mixed with humour and total mayhem.The show is fully interactive and half of the show is based on having some mini magicians taking part to help with some tricks.
The stage show ( cabaret):-
This is 1 hour long and leaves the audience totally amazed at what they have seen.Again, I try to get as many people as I can up with me, but even if you are sat down the atmosphere would still leave you mystified. The show also includes, fire eating,razor blades and snow.Not for the light hearted!
What do you love most about your job?
I love this line of work because I enjoy meeting all the crazy kids and seeing their faces when a trick is done.Its absolutely magical.
I also love to meet all the parents.
Helping out with any kinds of charity makes me happy too.I have a few which are extremely close to my heart but i am more than happy to help out anywhere i can when requested.
Magic is not just a job for me, its a passion.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have always enjoyed working on holiday parks, but as my family has grown, i don't particularly want to be away from them for long periods of time. Having my own business means i still get to do what i absolutely love, but also getting the family time too.
