What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
It is so important for the photographer to connect with their client and really get to know them quickly. 10% of my work is about the technical skills needed to take a great shot, 90% is getting to know the client and helping them to relax so their real self shows through in the end product.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
Getting to know the client is essential so I tend to ask a lot of questions about them, their careers, their interests and aspirations. If the client has approached me for photographs to support their career, then knowing about their aspirations and what they will use the images for is very important because different uses will need different styles of photograph.
What do you love most about your job?
Photography is a wide genre with so many different sub-professions. I am drawn to portrait and headshot photography because I get to spend time with one or two people at a time, get to know them and work closely with them to get the one or two shots which will end up on their wall or landing them work.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I like making something from nothing by my own hands. I have spent years building my photography skills (and I expect to continue to learn for as long as I am able) and I want to put these to use creating images that have meaning to as many people as possible.

My photography is all about the client and I will work with them to get the shot they need to achieve their goals.
Portrait Photography
I provide a portrait service for individuals, couples and families which can take place in a studio or on location. Portrait sessions are typically 2 hours long and a range of images are supplied as electronic downloads or on a USB stick. Prints will be available as individual purchases via an online print store.
Wedding Photography
I provide full day wedding coverage from bridal preparation to the first dance. Shorter coverage can be arranged at a reduced cost. Images are supplied as electronic downloads and on a decorative USB stick. Prints will be available as individual purchases via an online print store.
Wedding videos
I provide full day wedding coverage from bridal preparation to the first dance. Shorter coverage can be arranged at a reduced cost. The wedding video package contains a 20-minute cinematic wedding film, speeches in full and social media edits. The final package typically supplies between 40-60 minutes of video. All music is licensed and music used in social media edits are licensed for sharing on social media. The final videos are supplied on a decorative USB stick.
Commercial Photography and Videography, including headshots
I provide commercial photography, including headshots to companies looking to refresh their media or create content for new products and services. The service offered is dependent upon the customer/client brief.
