I love Jimmys farm but first time eating here wasn't great. Food was good but service poor. Couple of busy friendly staff rest just standing around instead of servicing the customers. Had to ask for cutlery twice. Fine if you're busy but it was quiet so sorry as I love the place but poor.

Booked in last Saturday night for a bit of an Xmas bash with friends. Had a fantastin night. The barn lent itself wonderfully to Christmas, the food was really good (let's be honest Xmas party dinners can be awful) & although the DJ was due to finish at 11:30, when I left at 11:55 he was still going....neither he nor the staff seemed in a rush to get everyone out. If it weren't for the fact I'm already booked for NY I would defo be booking up for the NY bash! Well done team Jimmy's farm! 👍👏👏👏

We was very disappointed.. We came for breakfast this morning and the staff didn't know the prices for the children's menu.. Just guessed.
We paid £7.55 for a children's breakfast of 1 sausage, 1 bacon, 1 piece of toast a spoon of scrambled egg, a piece of tomato and a few mushrooms.. Very expensive when you have 5 Children to feed aged 8-12
They came away hungry
Website didn't give any prices for available food either as if we had know we would have stopped on the way to eat elsewhere..as we had travelled from Kings Lynn in Norfolk..
Lots of the attractions in the Park where closed, no fishing, no butterfly house and one thing for older children was the Zip Wire and no wire or seat???..No discount in Admission prices!!!
The only thing that they enjoyed was the Den Making but overall very expensive and disappointing day out.

Booked a table for 7 of us yesterday for my Daughters 9th birthday. It was absolutely fantastic. The food was amazing, the staff were great and so attentive. The whole day was just the best and very reasonably priced. Very surprised with how much the food was.....we were expecting it to be a lot more. We live a couple of hours away but will definitely go back....fab fab fab

Have been several times previously however today enjoyed a traditional roast beef Sunday lunch. Delicious! Staff as always incredibly helpful and attentive - today we had lovely Fran serving us. The manageress was super efficient and helpful. Just two small criticisms; the waiting area is crammed with buggies so you are restricted from sitting and waiting comfortably while awaiting your table. Also feel they would benefit from having a family area where parents with babies/very young children can dine. It's a tad too noisy and chaotic for those without children. On the whole a fantastic place to visit with superb quality food that's beautifully cooked.

I found the place ok in general. Service was good, not great although they were very busy with it being a wet bank holiday.
I think not including a drink on the child's menu very strange and also the way menu is set out in general. Wouldn't rush back, there are plenty of other places you can pay for overprices burgers with chips extra.

I've eaten at jimmy farm on many occasions and always had a great meal the pie is huge and delicious it's a must try. Another must try is the apple juice. The only reason I gave 4* and not 5* is because there was a white cat walking around in the restaurant and yes I know it's a farm but I don't think animals should be in a restaurant and around you wile eating. (Sorry but that's just me) however I do keep going back

Good quality food served in a great setting and a lovely atmosphere. Friendly staff, both in the restaurant and park itself.

Very disappointed. My daughter had booked a table for lunch for my birthday. I hadn't eaten there before but had read great reviews... sadly my experience wasn't so great. They recommend you 'share' the food, suggest you order 3 small or 1 large and 1 small plate per person... for example, a burger in a brioche bun costs £9 (large plate) but no fries with it so they cost £3.50 (small plate)... I was disappointed with the menu generally, but my chosen dish was awful. I ordered 'Slow cooked Sutton Hoo chicken with bacon, mushrooms and shallots in red wine gravy'. I received 2 skin on drumsticks and a wing with mushrooms, streaky bacon and shallots in a very watery gravy. I should've sent it back but didn't want to embarrass my daughter. Even after removing the chicken from the bone I found bits of skin in the gravy- not very appetising! It was £11.50 and as stated before, no vegetables or potatoes were included. My husband had sausage, mash and gravy, for £10. One if my grandchildren had the child's portion which consisted of 2 sausages (hubby had 3). She also had a drink and ice cream all for £6.50!! It was extremely busy and the staff did their best, but the constant annoyed shouts from the kitchen of 'service please'! demonstrated they couldn't cope. We won't be going back 😔

Triple fried chips are ok if they are proper potatoes, sorry Jimmy but frozen chips don't cook that way :-\

It took was okay, food was tasty but for £12.95 for 3 small suasasages a spoon full of Mash and a few leaves of Kale, very overoverpriced for the amount. Service was good though!

I had a roast today at Jimmy's, it is usually really nice, however today I asked for extra gravy in a jug. So the chef decided to send it out in a bowl with the whole roast swimming in gravy, think he thought it was funny. I don't think I asked for anything other than a bit extra gravy, the waitress said everyone had been asking for extra gravy so he decided to put mine and my partner in a bowl. I sent mine back, but my partner eat his because he doesn't like to complain. The manager recognised my complaint and took it off the bill and give me a sweet for free. However, I was a regular customer and after today I won't be.

Really nice vibe and lovely decor, but we were put in the lower section by the fire exit which seemed to be used by staff getting in and out, and also for various staff meetings during the time we were there. We both had the pork with bubble and squeak which was really lovely, I expected outstanding, which it wasn't, however I'd definitely go again!

Disappointed Service was pretty awful but food was nice. They forgot to serve us and only took our order after second request for someone to take it. They brought me the wrong dish and after taking it away just never replaced it with the correct one. When given the bill we were told “maybe next time come on a less busy day”. The food we did eat was nice so the chef must be good. Went away feeling sad and frustrated that we’d wasted our money on an exasperating experience.

Food was really tasty & the staff are so friendly, the food took a while to come but everyones came together & it was all pipping hot had a slow browse round the shops & spent a fortune in the butchers because it all looked so tempting been here many times & will keep coming back

9 of us had a lovely meal today! The food was delicious, the service was excellent - not because they were super fast but because every single person was smiley and friendly which made the whole experience even more enjoyable, especially when it was so hot and they must have all been close to melting!

Had a lovely time at Jimmys farm today, was out first visit and only brief one but will definitely be coming back again. Such a lovely place to spend time just relaxing with the children or without come to think of it
. Bought some sausages as they looked amazing but not tried them yet.
The Gloucester old spot pig had her 6 day old piglets out for the first time they were so cute and there was s member of staff supervising them who gave us s lot of interesting information about the pigs. Loved the meerkats too and will be back again for another visit in the near future, might even do the music festival in July
