J&B Marquee Hire

We hired a marquee for our wedding in September and John and his team were absolutely brilliant. The marquee itself was perfect and exactly what we wanted. John's advice over lighting, heating, the dance floor etc. was invaluable and made the planning so much easier. The team's personal approach was so nice, we felt that they really cared and wanted to make our wedding as special as possible. It wasn't just about providing us with a marquee, John really listened to everything we needed and provided so many suggestions (e.g. wheelchair access, power points for the band, dealing with the sloping and uneven lawn! etc.) which made the day run so smoothly. John was quick to respond to our many questions and was always so amenable when we made last minute changes. We also hired the tables, chairs and table cloths through John which made it much easier than going through a separate company. The team were quick to take the marquee down and left the garden absolutely spotless. I would recommend J&B Marquees to anyone - I can't think of one thing that they could have done better. We asked J & B Marquees for a quote approximately 3 weeks before our event, a 21st, and they provided a wonderful marquee that was very good value. John and his sons set up the marquee calmly and effectively, and also suggested several items which made the day - lights for the dance floor, festoon lights, a heater, rustic tables and so on. John & James came to install the Marquee for us and they were very professional & courteous. They were very competitive on price and nothing was too much trouble. We found J&B Marquee hire quite last minute for a 40th Birthday Party in the summer. John was great to deal with on the phone and email and gave good advice about what else we might need (everything was excellent value) and how we might best set up the marquee to double as a music stage. He massively came to our rescue on providing the necessary electrics we needed to hook up the generator, the loo, the lights and the sound system, all as part of the original hire price package. When the sound system guys turned up they said how high quality John’s electrical setup was. John was also really knowledgable about power loads and even helped with setting up the toilets (which we didn’t even hire through him). So, we really felt like we were in safe hands. When I met John on site he was a pleasure to talk to. I couldn’t recommend J&B more highly and will definitely be coming back to them for our next event. More...
