We specialise in providing commercial law advise to small business owners. This includes reviewing contracts received from clients and suppliers, or perhaps draft standard terms of business for a sanity check. We can also draw up new terms of business, draft contracts for specific purposes, such a NDAs, consultancy agreements, recruitment agency contracts with clients and with agency workers or contractors, master services agreements (including neutral vendor / master vendor / xPO models), and other commercial agreements.

What do you love most about your job?
I love working with start-ups and small business owners at the early stages of their business. Part of why I set-up Jantina Consulting was to provide a high quality, reliable fixed-fee commercial law service to start-ups and small business owners so that they can get on with what they do best, and leave me to do for them what I do best. Things get better still if I can help them win new business. I also love hearing about their ideas, and learning about new and different ways of doing business.
What inspired you to start your own business?
After having worked with freelancers and contractors in the recruitment sector for nine years, a corporate restructuring programme gave me the opportunity to reconsider my position and decide to set-out on my own instead of looking for alternative employment. The flexibility of freelance working suited my circumstances, and I was ready for the challenge of testing my capabilities in my field.
