With a nice little cafe, for teas and coffee, and cold drinks, cake and light meals, on our visit there was an reanactment day , with tents from bygone days, with people dressed up , knights, merchant with merchandise that they make, maids making items, all set in the ground,of the castle

Small but perfectly formed. The castle has ruins as well as reconstructed sections. Good car park. Dog friendly café. Can recommend their afternoon teas.

Not too much left of the castle , but the entrance looks pretty good ( though not sure the recent renovations fit in that well ). The grounds are nice to walk around , have a picnic etc and there's a nice little cafe and bookshop too . Free to get in , so what's not to like ? Best to visit in nice weather. Pleasant staff too. A great 12th century site, that actually goes back 2000 years, as can be seen by the Iron age earth works to the rear of the site! Run by an excellent team of volunteers, this ruin is not huge, but interesting and free (£2 car park fee payable at the excellent cafe -light meals, drinks and cakes). Nice little shop and mini museum of artifacts found on site with great little book shop as well. Run by the community, this is well worth a visit (30-90mins), and anybody low scoring this place must be having a bad day! More...

There's plenty of events that take place in the ruins of this castle, all wonderful. I particularly love attending the outdoor plays. There is a cafe on site, which is run very efficiently and quite the sun trap. The grounds themselves are also beautifully maintained. More...

What do you love most about your job?
I love that I can help people feel good and relaxed and happy. It gives me a tremendous sense of pride knowing that many people have visited me over the years for expert advice and massage. I take great responsibility in what I do and the best compliment for me is when clients become regulars and stay with me for many years.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Massage Therapy is always something I was interested in and moving to Shropshire/Powys borders from Surrey I threw myself into being self employed as its a passion for me.
Why should our clients choose you?
I would like to think that my clients come to me because they know I will give them my time and expertise in a subject that is close to my heart. I will give them great value for money and I also offer a loyalty bonus if they stay with me on a regular basis.
Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
I can offer advice online depending on the request if a client needs to know more about Complementary Therapies and is not sure what may benefit them.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I have a Covid Awareness Cert and I am an NHS worker and very aware of Health & Safety and will always protect my clients.
Reiki Natural Healing
A gentle and effective form of healing. No need to remove your clothes and can be done either seated or lying down. It is extremely relaxing and balancing.
Aromatherapy Massage
A gentle but effective massage treatment using Aromatherapy Oils to suit your needs. My help with emotional and stressful issues and with many muscular or back related conditions. The massage is particular to the individual and I mix the oils they are not pre blended.
