I was on my way into town for an evening out when the sole came away from one of my shoes. Luckily I was changing trains at Balham and remembered that there's a shoe repair place at the entrance to the tube station. I often travel through Balham on my way home to Tooting. I would normally use the cobblers at Tooting station however I thought I would see what price the cobblers at Balham would offer to glue the souls of my boots back on as I had a doctors appointment in Balham. Couldn't have been more impressed with the service. Really happy blokes, willing to help me out. As I was a first time customer they offered to fix my boots for free and they did it in half an hour. This was a couple of weeks ago and my boots are as good as new. If you are after convenience and great customer service then I wouldn't suggest anywhere else. I will be be using these guys again. Absolutely brilliant! fast, seamless, great value.Took in a bag with a broken zip and was astounded how quickly and expertly Danny was able to repair it. He is also a top geezer being local south londoner and we had a great chat. I have all my shoes repaired here, and I'm always impressed. However recently I had a terrible experience with another cobbler replacing a zip very badly and leaving me feeling my favourite shoes were destroyed. Danny and Arthur took the time to listen to my experience and assured me they could help. Excellent service and a great price. They really know about shoe repairs - from a simple cutout glue resole to a full traditional all leather stitch resole. They are inside the station entrance and have stools you can sit on whilst they do on the spot repairs. They also cut keys. These guys have been around for years! I contacted Rogers and sons about my totally worn out and deteriorated soles on my ex army boots, as they were the most comfortable boots I’ve ever owned I was worried they were beyond repair but ‘no problem sir, we can fix those’ was music to my ears and in a few days they looked even better than the day I bought them. watch battery, the fact we give a years guarantee on batteries which we will replace free of charge put you off, is not really our fault. occasionally we get a faulty battery from suppliers, unlike some of the manufacturers we don't pay chinese kids £5 a month to make them hope this helps More...

Honest guy and quick repair.Took my shoe for heel-replacement and he sent me back saying that the heel is not too worn out so it is not in desperate need of repair. He sent me back when he could have made some quick money off me.I returned after a couple of months and he replaced the heels in about 5 minutes while I waited on a stool playing on my mobile phone.Prices are reasonable - and lower than Timpson.
