I am so impressed with Iron Will Dog Training. Da’Mon is so well educated about dogs and how they communicate. He is amazing with all dogs. He has a following and classes full of highly, highly reactive dogs, dogs that have bitten people or have put other animals in the hospital including my own. I found Da’Mon online and I am so very happy I did. I needed and still need probably more training than my dog does, which is usually the case. He is working with me and my Lucy to help me ensure I get the results I need. It is not easy, it is not painless, but nothing worth having is easy to get and you get what you pay for. We found ourselves the unexpected owners of an 11 month old lab/pittie mix who had spent most of his life outside on a chain. Roscoe joined our very sedate pack of two dachshunds & a greyhound, and he brought chaos & energy with him. We were a little shell-shocked and at our wits end as to how to bring peace & order back to our home. Enter Da'Mon of Iron Will Dog Training. He came to our home to evaluate Roscoe and recommend a training plan. With just that one visit, he brought order to meal time. We were separating the pups in to separate rooms to feed. Since that day, we feed them together, and it is calm & orderly. Also with that first visit, he was able to teach us how to walk Roscoe without getting dragged. We signed up for a year of training, and it has been the best thing for our household. Roscoe is a different dog with the training we learn & practice with Da'Mon. His energy is managed, he's learned to be an indoor dog, and he's bonded with one of the dachshunds. We were completely lost, and Da'Mon showed us what to do. And it is us that he's training. My husband, Garland and I rescued our Fur Baby, Gunner, from the Fulton County Animal Shelter right before the New Year. By April Garland was having 2nd thoughts about whether to keep Gunner because he was so out of control. We began thinking we'd need to find Gunner a new home. So I asked our vet about a dog trainer and she recommended Iron Will Dog Training. My dog, Abby, and I just started training with Da'Mon. After just one session, she is sitting on command. I have seen a big difference in her. I rescued her from the Morgan County Humane Society two weeks ago and wanted her to have training for better manners. She is a chihuahua/Yorkie mix with lots of energy and is still a puppy at 7 months, so we have typical puppy behavior along with some bad habits to correct. I am so looking forward to working with Da'Mon and the groups over the next year. Abby is more responsive and has a long way to go but so far, she is responding well. I want to share a story on how important Da"Mon, has helped me build the confidence in myself and my dog Brady. Brady is a 200 lbs Great Dane - Bull Massive, who decided one day he wanted to take a walk in the park, by himself.

I let Brady out in the backyard as I always do and this was the first day that the weather was nice and warm so he decided he wanted to jump the fence and go across the street to the park.

Normally, there are lots of people walking in the park but, thank God, this was not one of those days. When I spotted Brady, he was on the other side of the park sniffing the trash can. I slowly walked towards him and said the command "Brady come", with some excitement and low and behold, Brady came running straight towards me.

Once he came to me, I gave him the sit command and praised him with positive punishment by saying good boy (for coming to me), with a rub down. Brady has not been the best in training with the "come" command but, without the tools Da'Mon has been instilling in us at training, I would have freaked out and probably made things worst.

As mentioned in every class, the training is not for the dogs but, for the dog owners who are willing to put the time and effort into their dogs. This training has taught me how to be prepared and armed with the right tools for controlling and protecting my furry babies.

Training does not stop after class is over but, is a life long process.

Iron Will dog training is a phenomenal program. Da Mon has worked with our Australian Sheppard for over a year. Our Aussie was a very aggressive and uncontrollable dog. Within 2 training sessions our dog Beau was understanding and obeying commands. Most importantly Da mon trains the handler more than the dog. Handler participation is very important. Working with Da'Mon has been a blessing for both me and Brady. In the beginning Brady had to wear a muzzle for the first month of training because he was a little aggressive. He would terrorize my little dogs and was very hard headed and felt like he didn't have to listen. With the guidance of Da'Mon and the consistency of training even after training days, Brady, has become the most love-able big baby. The little dogs are more comfortable around him and I don't hear my mom yelling at him as much to leave them alone. This man (Da'Mon) is amazing. Me and my dog (Sophie) have been training with him for almost a year and a half now. Sophie started out with now behavioral or command skills and she was prone to attack. After starting with her training, I quickly realized it was me who needed to learn how to train my dog. I had to learn how to not be anxious or nervous with her training and how to trust my dog, and my dog trust me. She has come such a long way that one would swear she was a different dog. I found myself totally overwhelmed and stressed with our dog Junior.  He was horrible when visitors came over and walking him around other dogs was nearly impossible.  I called Iron Will Dog Training and the experience I had exceeded all my expectations! I have been so amazingly impressed and happy with Iron Will Dog Training. Before my dog went to Iron Will Dog Training, I would have considered him uncontrollable. I could not walk him, he would pull me everywhere. We could not have guests over to him being aggressive and barking. He would compulsively pace back and forth from window to window in our house constantly barking at the people in the cul-de-sac. After Iron Will Dog Training, I CAN WALK MY DOG!! Like, we can actually go on walks- in public at that- and he doesn't act crazy and pull me around like a mad dog. We can have guests over without him acting a fool and he no longer stalks my windows, driving me crazy with all the barking. Mr. Clemons from Iron Will Dog Training does not just teach your dog to sit, down, stay, and heel. Mr. Clemons actually spends time with your dog to evaluate your dogs condition and what training they need.
