Ian Newton Videography

Ian was the videographer for my wife and I’s wedding in August 2018. He captured the day impeccably from beginning to end and was the consummate professional throughout the whole experience. He took the time to meet with us prior to the wedding, setting a plan in place that would best capture what my wife and I wanted and shared his knowledge and experience from previous nuptials coverage of what works well. Throughout the day we were in the forefront of Ian’s mind and our every whim was catered to, taking the time to focus on the atmosphere in the room whilst also managing to capture moments of humour. If we were ever to require a videographer at any time in the future (hopefully not a second wedding) Ian would be the man we would turn to. There are not enough stars to give for the fantastic team at the Out Barn. Not only is this a STUNNING & utterly unique venue in itself, the staff there cannot do enough to help you in the run up to, and on, your big day. Everything was done seamlessly and you only had to make requests once - it was done & delivered - so no stresses for the bride or groom. Ian has been fab from our first meeting with him, he came to our home..chatted and got to know us and explained how he works on the day. We instantly warmed to him, someone we knew would capture our day perfectly. We opted for the montage too which we was so eager to see and defo worth it. We never felt Ian intrude at all, he was very low key. Such a fab videograpther and glad we chose him. Ian videoed our wedding day on 21st July 2018. He gave me a call a week before the wedding explaining what times he would be arriving etc which was so reassuring on the lead up to the wedding and his friendly approach made us both feel so much at ease. On the day what can I say...just amazing ! Didn't even know he was there, we both felt so at ease with him and the video is more than we expected. It completely took us through the emotions of the day all over again. We also opted for the montage which I would highly recommend to anyone as it sums up your day and is lovely to share with your family and friends. Ian provides an excellent service. From the initial meeting Ian is very thorough in ensuring that the wedding video is exactly as you want it. On the day we hardly saw him, his relaxed informal approach meant we could get on with our wedding day knowing that Ian was somewhere capturing the special moment. The music he puts to the video is great, as is the quality of the finished product. My wife was apprehensive about having a wedding video done but we are so glad we did as Ian captured things we never saw ourselves on the day. I would recommend his service to anyone getting married. If there were 100 stars then Ian would have them all. My wedding was only 4 weeks ago so I haven’t yet received my full video but I already know it’s going to be amazing! What a professional, and what a guy!!! Makes you feel at ease upon meeting, and brides to be he makes an amazing time keeper! The wedding morning went by in a blur and Ian kept us in check telling us when we should be getting ready and setting off. The mini montage we received a few days after the wedding was so special and how the DVDs arrived with printed disks and more than one copy was just incredible.

I noticed Ian's work and contacted him and was thrilled when he said he was available Thursday 7th September.We met up with him for a pre wedding meeting and instantly liked him and felt at ease.What a lovely man.We are so glad we chose Ian to film our special day and would highly recommend him.On the day we did not even know he was there.
