Ian is personally recommended by UK legendary drummers, Steve White (Style Council / Paul Weller) and Craig Blundell (Steve Hackett / Roland International Demonstrator). With Ian, you have a great opportunity to learn from a premier industry professional, with more than 28 years experience, having played for top artists such as Dido, Natalie Imbruglia, Gary Moore, Craig David to name but a few. This sets him apart from many other tutors with regard to experience and know-how.

So I ensure each student's programme is tailor made to exactly what they want!"

Ian specialises in beginners, getting them off to a really great start, but teach all abilities right up to advanced. He makes it his priority to ensure every student is comfortable and at ease, and is never worried about asking questions or advice. The lesson is always fun as well as educational, something a student should look forward to each week!

Many teachers will use just published books to teach. That's no problem, but in addition, I use uniquely written material from my own thirty-five years of experience. I find this helps advance students more thoroughly and more readily than just using published material.
