I recently purchased a new build house, waiting on money from the equity I had in my partners house. Andrew Johnson dealt with each issue which arose promptly and efficiently, ensuring that all parties involved were kept upto date throughout the process. With no added costs. He was easy to contact and to share concerns with, he didn't once make me feel ill at ease (which can happen when you are inexperienced), particularly as I was going through the purchase on my own. Their website mentions 'we will guide you every step of the way' 'outstanding quality of advice and finest level of service' and 'we work hard to get to know each and every client'. This was not my experience with Beverley Bradshaw who I recently dealt with for almost a year. Communication was poor, we spoke 2 maybe 3 times over this time and I was expected to make decisions from complex lengthy emails despite stating several times that I would prefer to have a discussion before making important decisions. This was not acknowledged. When I did email a direct request for a conversation I waited a week for a reply which came with suggested dates/ times for when that call could be booked in. As we were up against a 2 week deadline for our response to be sent to the opposing solicitor I felt this was really unhelpful. It also caused me considerable frustration. I tried calling several times but was never able to reach Beverley, just put through to her unhelpful abrupt assistant, Gemma Bishop, who would only answer 'yes' no' maybe' at my questions. I had to chase for things to be done or to get an update and did not get a response to several emails. In addition Beverley was no match for the opposing solicitor who vehemently and powerfully argued their client's cause.
