Only stayed for a night but nice clean room, comfy bed, a major plus was they took dogs....thank god !
Breakfast was OK but if you wanted a cooked one be prepared to queue. They kept running out of major parts like sausage, eggs or bacon....
Would definitely stay again now I know they take dogs....

Clean, comfortable, efficient.
Check in and out was quick and painless. Quality feel to room. Minor improvements would be option on softer pillows, more milk pods - need two per cup of tea so 4 between 2 people is useless. Aircon in room seemed good but isn't distributed evenly around the room. One person cold and one sweating. I would return. More...

Stayed one night. Small bathroom considering it was a double room. Nowhere to put any clothes or anything. Nice restaurant with bar. Good full cooked breakfast.
Room service used for evening meal. Smart efficient service when we called someone up to replace tv remote as it wasn't working.

Comfortable mid-range hotel conveniently located just off the M6.

Room. I stayed in an Executive Room that was comfortable, if a little smaller than what I usually expect for the premium room. The bath was a bit cramped, but otherwise a very nice bathroom with excellent shower and toiletries included.

Breakfast. There was a good spread, especially for the price. Being able to order poached eggs to order was a nice touch. I would have preferred to have a bean to cup coffee machine instead of the filter coffee in a flask, but even so the filter coffee was good.

Pool and Gym. Although I didn't use them, I did go to have a look and the facilities looked very good.

Staff. The friendly staff is what took this from a 3⭐ to 4⭐ review. All the staff were very friendly and the lady on reception was both professional and interested in making sure we got the best from our stay.

I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

Holiday inn m6j7 I just like stepping out of the motorway to the bed. The hotel is ideally placed gor motorist who want to rest and family members to enjoy vast open space in the countryside of Birmingham.

The hotel is undergoing renovation and looking better in facilities and comfort for the cost.

Above all the hotel staff are extremely helpful and cooperative in cooking delicious food to the guest satisfaction. I have stayed at this hotel for many years in my life and enjoyed the stay all the time. In 2014 winter I stayed for more than two months at a time when my house had pipe bursting problem.

My friends who stayed here are also said very good about the hotel and the reception and chef staff in particular.

Still like to see more transformation at the property in the future to become more popular for the tourist at large.

Nice and quiet place for stay. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was fair enough. They don't have the fancy cappuccino machine like the London branch, but still the coffe was OK.

Have only used as a very convenient business meeting spot, it's ideally located off J7 M6 and serves some great Starbucks coffee. Staff are welcoming and friendly, there's good WiFi and there's plenty of space for a quick meeting. They also have a nice bar area and have plenty of free parking. More...

Easy access from M6. Spa, sauna and pool is nice, it closes at 8pm. Restaurant was not busy when we go there about 9pm and food was delicious. Standard room was not that big as would have expected, but it was alright. Long corridors to the rooms. More...

Very busy because of Christmas, but helpful, fast & efficient staff, who were very friendly. And great big bath sheets, not just dinky towels?

I travel to Birmingham a bit for work and have stayed here a few times now. Location is good for business travel, since it is just off the M6. Rooms are good, comfortable enough for a two night stay and they serve a decent menu in the restaurant. The best part about this hotel is the stafff. It's one of the friendliest staff I have seen in the last three years or so of a traveling job at a hotel that targets business travellers. Am booked to stay here a couple more times this year. Recommended, mainly on the staff and service quality. More...

Lovely hotel. Stayed at a few hotels around Birmingham and this is the best so far. Reception are friendly and welcoming, rooms were clean and comfortable also. Goods night sleep with little noise even with the hotel busy. Super shower in the bathroom. Breakfast was lovely and fresh. Chef was cheery and welcoming when topping up the buffet. The only things to let the hotel down were the doors on the bedroom furniture in our executive rooms were lose and falling off, the evening snack in the bar lounge was well overcooked and duvets seem small on the beds. Unfortunately it's either 4 or 5 stars so has to be 4 as I can't make it 4.5 stars. More...

When I first arrived they delivered a prompt service and gave me my room let as soon as possible. First night I was able to use the swimming pool and spa areas freely; and also had dinner. Complimentary Wi-Fi access. Only fault was there was 2 problems with my room, bed missing a leg and the window wouldn't close; after enduring the night, in the morning I promptly went to the front desk to sort out these problems and they were solved within the hour. My stay here beyond that has been pleasant. More...

Exactly what you should expect from a Holiday Inn, it does the job of giving you a place to sleep and eat for a reasonable price. Breakfast is a higher standard than I'm used to at hotels in this price range though! (Which is very much appreciated) And the staff are nice too. More...

Friendly staff who were attentive to my two children, second stay here, clean and modern and the 'kids eat free' is fantastic. Remember to enter your vehicle reg number on arrival. Only downside with Holiday Inns generally is that family rooms only have a double and sofa bed....not twins. More...
