Great tunes from Jay but big let down on the lack of non-alcoholic drinks - some lager, wine and seedlip mocktail options would be very welcome but the bar staff accommodated making me a fake expresso martini !

Our first visit to the Sky Bar - we went for a drink for our anniversary. Thinking we'd only have one as originally thought it would be expensive but was pleasantly surprised that 2 glasses of prosecco was just over £13. ..not bad considering the venue so we ended up having another lol. Level8skybar in the Hilton bournemouth is brilliant, the seating was very comfy, the room light and airy and very very clean. we were served High Tea by a very nice younge lady, the tea consisted of 3 sandwiches each, 1 fruit and 1 plain scone each, with jam and cream, and 4 little cakes each. We also has proccesso and a pot of tea. It was well presented in a wooden different see threw box, We were asked several times if were ok and was there anything more we wanted, well worth a visit and very good value for money More...

A friend of mine was treating me to a night at The Hilton following Christine and the Queens gig, for my birthday. So after the gig we went up to The Skybar for a night cap. The elevator door man was lovely and chatty. The bar staff were all smiling and made us some amazing cocktails, at prices that were very reasonable . The outside terrace had a lovely view and with the Christmas lights up around town, it was really nice - though it was bitterly cold that night, so we didn't stay out there long I was on crutches unfortunately but it wasn't too long before we found a table and a padded stool for me to rest my leg. We had a couple of delicious cocktails, of which there was a really good choice of. The lighting was funky, the ambiance was great and it was definitely the best way to end my birthday evening. I would highly recommend a visit, whether you are with your partner or a group of friends, you will be made welcome and sure to have a great time - just as we did More...

I really like this bar & the drinks that they offer. It's certainly a lot more expensive than other places. However, the music here is always ultra modern/new releases & the vibe is generally always a good one. Some of the seats are comfortable & they are even heated on the balcony. Table service is a blessing at the best of times but especially when it's busy. Although, 12.5% is added to your bill so you do pay for it. The clientele can vary massively as it does sit at the top of the hotel (Hilton Bournemouth), i.e. some good crowds & some bad. I attempted to visit a few weeks back (Sat night) & there were copious amounts of people just standing around the bar. A complete oversight from the management because the bar/area isn't that big & it just looked ridiculous. Needless to say we left within seconds of arrival so make sure you book a table in advance if you go on a weekend. More...

Great place in Bournemouth to have nice evening over drinks. The distinct feature is the long balcony with the great view over the Bournemouth town;
on a clear day you can also see the sea. You can sit in the balcony area (there are couches and tables) and order drinks.
The Bar is the ideal place for small to medium groups. Perfect for dates since the Bar has somehow an intimate/dimmed light atmosphere inside. The Bar has some unique cocktails but of course has all the classics and usual drinks.

Very good cocktails but expensive. Awesome view over Bournemouth town.
Some times the staff offer to get your drinks and then charge a hefty service charge.
.. Just order at the bar and carry the meter or two yourself!
Can be very busy on a weekend night so can be worth booking a table in advance.
It is a classy place but you would be fine in jeans and a shirt with out feeling out of place.

Nice decor and expansive cocktail list. Friendly service. The bartender with the sleeve tatts is very talented so don't hesitate to ask him for a creation or recommendation. I understand that this venue is meant to have a nightclub feel however the music playlist probably could have been a little more chilled at 5pm when there were only 3 occupied tables and all customers were old (i.e. over 30). Several Lil Wayne and Usher tracks from the 2000s in a row weren't so appropriate when there was still natural light pouring in and there was an embarrassingly empty dance floor. More...
