At the start of the year I engaged HOP Ltd to redesign my companies website, kelverion, and decided to wait six months before leaving this review to give the site time to reveal full benefits and make a more thorough analysis of improvements. Not knowing what I wanted specifically I approached Talveer and HOP Ltd with a general requirement of 'I want this to look better and have an improved customer journey'. From this initial brief Talveer took the time to sit down with me and plan out exactly what we were looking for, what needed to be implemented from a systems and software perspective and what our website was used for primarily. From this he went away and built out a mock up that exceeeded our already high expectations, capturing exactly what it was we wanted, before we knew exactly what that was. Over the next few weeks our site was built out with constant feedback and requests for our input as to the design to ensure we were happy with the finished product. Since the site going live we have been very happy with it. From an analytics perspective; time on the website and number of page views has increased, click through rate from Google Ads has improved and we have noticed a sizeable increase in the conversion rate from prospects. Aesthetically, the improvements have been phenomenal, we are able to be a lot more creative from a layout and design perspective and utilise features that we never had before. What makes a great website?
A clear brand identity. Clear calls to action or not, gearing towards the desired end goal of the website. That may be for people to make a purchase, make contact or spend longer on the website.
It also needs to be mobile friendly and fully responsive to give the user the best user experience and to be marked favourably by Google.

- Meet with client
- Take notes of all requirements
- Go away and brainstorm on great ideas for this project. Create a scope of works document, pricing options, examples of previous work, examples of options for this project and present this on a 2nd meeting
- Begin working on the project following receipt of an agreed deposit
- Internal draft stages will be gone through and only after we are happy will it be presented to the client for a 1st draft review
- Meeting about the 1st draft recommendations, changes, feedback
- It is then worked on and any changes are actioned
- Submitted again for the 2nd draft review and so forth till the client is 100% happy with it
- Upon completion the project is delivered in full to the client and if it's a website, it will be transferred across and made live
