We could not have wished for a better DJ for our wedding in France this summer. Before the wedding we had a listening session with Jacob which was without a doubt the funnest part of planning the wedding. The music on the day was perfect. Jacob DJ'd over three days at our wedding in Morocco in September. He was absolutely fantastic. We couldn't have asked for more. He played all of songs we asked for, read the crowd perfectly and also managed the sound and music during the ceremony which went without a hitch. On top of that he and his Mrs spent loads of time mingling with our guests and many people commented on how nice they were. I would highly recommend Jacob to anyone looking for a DJ for any event. We used Jacob at 'Higher Love' for our wedding in Morocco and he was incredible! He was a recommendation from the hotel we hosted the wedding at and we were so happy with his service. We had two listening sessions with him which was great fun, one of which was at his home, our music taste is quite contrasting but he managed to merge the two perfectly and our guests felt the music was the highlight of the wedding! Its important to note that you don't just get a wedding DJ in Jacob and the team, you gain a life long friend who is there with you every step of the way on what can be a pretty nerve racking day. I could not recommend the company enough, because at the end of the day, its all about how you make people feel on your wedding day and he made everyone feel amazing. What can I say, Jacob aka Higher Love absolutely nailed it. He understood what we were all after not only on the wedding night but over the course of the 3days. The night before warming everyone up, the night itself (what a journey through the ages) and the final session, poolside tunes to finish it all off.... perfect. You were first to arrive and last to leave, serious respect it was a long day. What do you love most about your job?
Playing a gig is like inviting someone into your house and cooking for them. I love to perform, and I love to see people having an amazing time.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Went to a lot of weddings with really bad music. It doesn't have to be this way.
Why should our clients choose you?
Higher Love is the brainchild of musician, producer and DJ Jake Wheeler. Born into the entertainment industry, Jake studied music production at Leeds College of Music, where he discovered his love for DJing. Since then he has performed to dance floors all over the world. Jake also performs in bands globally, as well as working with breakthrough artists by writing and producing tracks in his studio in London. You are not just getting a DJ you are getting a fully fledge musician with years of experience.
