My boiler broke down on Sunday when one of the coldest weeks began. Ant arrived early on Monday morning and gave good, professional advice on the issue and how much it would cost to solve the problem. His rates are more than reasonable, he's prompt and reliable and I will definitely be using him again for any other gas or plumbing issues. Started with a request for a regular gas fire service during which a major safety problem came to light originating from when the gasfire was first fitted, which could have caused a house fire. Anthony was able to rebuild the base of the flue and make good the previous faulty workmanship as well as servicing the fire. We are absolutely delighted with the knowhow, care and expertise shown from the initial check of our fireplace (including advice re: the state of the chimney, calling a sweep and choosing a suitable fire) to the actual fitting. Who else could you call on New Year’s Eve and 2 hours later have had a visit and an answer with a solution as to why our heating has packed in ! Ant has just refurbished our downstairs toilet - he's tiled the floor and fitted a vanity unit/wc and tiled around the sink. He's also fitted a new radiator. We had Heat Tech out to look at a couple of our taps that were persistently leaking. Although they could have written them off and charged for new ones they were able to re-seat and replace the faulty parts at a much more reasonable cost. After a leak from the apartment above me I was left with a very water damaged bathroom. Ant sorted everything for me, from the tiling all the way through to the fitting of the sink.
