What’s the secret to keeping a party dancing all night long?
In my business I have to be able to walk into a party and immediately tap into the energy. I have to quickly get an idea of what type of music will engage the audience and Keep it going! We offer DJs who have years of experience in both club settings as well as corporate type settings.
How would you describe your ‘style’?
Personally, I’m down to earth, so I like to perform in coffee house style settings, backyard bbqs, corporate events, restaurants, and intimate venues. The bands and DJs I work with though have great variety. My team is made up of some of the best, most well-respected musicians in Dallas. We have over 40 years of experience promoting and providing live music.
What do you love most about your job?
Live music is so powerful! I get to be a part of making memories for beautiful people! At a wedding, the songs that are sung or played will be etched into that couples story forever. At parties and celebrations, the right music can encourage new relationships to be built and old friendships to be restored. I believe in the power of music and my team knows that bringing our best to each performance makes a difference.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Music is what I love! The Haven Lane team is built of full-time professional musicians. This is what we do because it’s what we love and because of that love, we wouldn’t want to do anything else!
