I am writing this testimonial in appreciation of the service and product I have received from you and your company. Having decided to install CCTV at my home premises, my first and only port of call was Harvey Electrical Services. I contacted Karl and we arranged for him to visit my property and see what was required. Arriving promptly as planned, we discussed the various options I had and where the cameras would be best placed. After that initial meeting, Karl later that day forwarded me a quotation. Which both myself and Karen were happy to proceed with. An installation day was penned in the diary for the work to be carried out.The aforementioned day arrived and so did Karl and his team. HES has replaced ceiling lighting in three rooms in our home, and then organised for plastering work to make good the ceilings. The whole process from our initial approach to their completion of the work has been carried out quickly and efficiently and we are very pleased with the result. What we thought might be a complicated job has been done without fuss, thanks to their expertise and customer-centred approach. Since owning our house we have had the constant problem of having the landing light only operable from one switch at once, i. e. you can’t turn it on upstairs and then turn it off downstairs. It has been a constant irritation.
Three electricians have said it cannot be done without chasing out the walls and rewiring.
I asked Harvey’s to come take a look and suggested that if nothing could be done they could then chase the walls and rewire.
All the traditional wiring methods were tried on a first visit to no avail. Rather than go for the more financially lucrative option of chasing the walls and creating a bigger job, Karl opted to send his team back out to try an alternate, less traditional, method which worked saving us both money and inconvenience. Karl achieved that without ever having seen the job himself.
It's a testament to their collective knowledge and attention to customer service that HES were available to complete a task where many others have failed.
No more will I have to trudge back downstairs last thing at night to switch the lights back off having forgotten which switch I had used to switch them on.

I am writing to say a big thank you for the work you carried out to my home supplying and fitting LED spot lights to my hallway, en suite and also an outside light with sensor to the front of the house.



Being in a new build home for almost two years now, me and my partner realised that although we all need to play a part in saving the world by saving energy, we couldn’t cope anymore with the hideous led bulbs that were supplied by the builders and needed to light up our home inside and out.



After having a conversation with you, it was clear that I was making the right choice to use your company to install my lights. The advice on the type of light fittings, and the correct LED bulbs to be used was exceptional.



I booked in Harvey Electrical Services to carry out the supply and installation and I am so pleased that I did. They turned up when stated and the workmanship is top class. They respected my home, even my partner commented on how extremely tidy they were, they even put up with my crazy dog Henry while trying to work.

If you are a Landlord you will know how important it is to have reliable tradesmen. As portfolio Landlords for over 20 years we have been very fortunate to have a team of reliable contractors to call on. Following the retirement of our electrician we needed to find a replacement who was reliable, professional and responsive. Karl Harvey of Harvey Electrical Services was recommended and we can honestly say that we have not been disappointed with the service received. Last Friday morning (why is it always Friday when a problem rears its head !) we were contacted by a tenant who had no electricity. We rang Harvey Electrical Services and were told that the electrician would be there within two hours. Sure enough the electrician arrived and after some time was able to pinpoint the problem and rectify it.

From the first visit to look at the job to completion the service was extremely professional, well organised & finished to a high standard.

On the day of installation the lads turned up on time & ready for work. They knew exactly what was to do & got stuck in. From what I understand the job was slightly more work than first thought but that wasn’t an issue, they just got on with it.

Karl and his team have just completed the full rewiring of our house from top to bottom plus various outbuildings. It's been a large and lengthy project, however the team have gone out of their way to make what has obviously been a disruptive couple of weeks, as tolerable as possible for us! Harvey Electrical Services are very professional, efficient and reasonably priced. All their staff are very polite and do good work, even vacuuming up where they can. I cannot speak highly enough of Gavin who started the work in our house, but due to very sad personal circumstances, was unable to finish it off. Two other Harvey electricians were sent out, in his absence, to finish the job. Karl is a absolute gentleman, very polite , friendly and professional. Karl and his team was fantastic through out the whole process. Best tradesman I have experienced in terms of communication. They are very reliable and quick. They fitted led ceiling down lights in 3 bedrooms , a colour changing lights with remote control in my sons bedroom which he absolutely love it, external lights with sensor, cctv and also colour changing led strip lighting in the kitchen. Morning Karl

Just want to say thanks for the excellent service from the guys who have visited us to fit our complicated light. From the advice last week to the fitting and advice and assistance last night we have been impressed with the communication and service from the first minute to the last.
It's refreshing in this day and age and there doesn't seem to be many who are as professional as you and your guys anymore!
We're planning to get some outside sockets at the front and back before Christmas so you'll be top of our list when we want them doing!
