I have been using Handy Gardeners for approx 6/7 months now. The regular team who come to me fortnightly carry out excellent maintenance, they are fastidious, knowledgeble, always work for the 2 hours allocated without a break, carry out my instructions to a T and if they finish what I have asked for they continue with other maintenance off their own bat. Being disabled my garden had now become completely overgrown. I have just used Handy Gardeners yesterday for the first time and will certainly be using them again. Fixing an appointment for the work was easy and they answered all the questions I had as a first time user.
The workmen showed up on time and were helpful when I showed them what I wanted done. They worked hard during the day and by the end I had a garden space I could relax in.

An Easy company to work with! We were very pleased with the work that Handy Gardeners did in our garden this week. I have to admit that we were somehow suspicious in hiring them as a result of all the bad reviews we read on here, but the prices they had quoted us for the landscaping job we were inquiring were very reasonable, as well as the breakdown of the price was very detailed and accurate, so we decided to give them a go. On the other hand, the customer agent that helped us throughout the entire booking process, called Mia, was such a pleasant lady and it was a real pleasure to communicate with her!
The landscapers who appeared at the appointed day worked unbelievably hard in removing several tons of extra soil as long as a stubborn roots of a tree we tried unsuccessfully to remove from our garden. Then on the next day they came with all the necessary materials and turf rolls, ready to do the returfing job we had booked them in for. Skipping landscaping is kind of like skipping painting your house. I bought my little dream home a while back, but it did NOT have a dream garden! It was an overgrown mess and needed some serious attention. My gran has been using Handy Gardeners for a while, and she is kind of picky, so I knew they had to be pretty reliable! Hi, I would avoid using this service, many better options out there.

Specific problems:

1) Unreliable with timings - kept changing the time they had committed to and cancelled last minute

2) They have a terrible attitude towards customer service, so they do not listen to your concerns at all.

3) The workers are not hardworking tried to charge me for one hours work, when they only worked for 40mins. I had booked them for 2 hrs, however left after 40mins as they said they had another job.

The services of that gardening company come at an very affordable price, which I have no trouble with.
Other major benefit for me and partially the reason why I continue hiring Handy Gardeners for the regular maintenance of my garden is that they are always available and I have had no trouble with that so far. So I needn't worry if my lawn will be mowned or no, depending on the season, I know that they will do their best to meet my requirements and take care of my garden within the time frame I want it.

Because of these solid benefits, I believe that I will be using the same service for days to come.

I love working in my garden, but there are certain tasks I find too difficult. Instead of stressing over things such as lawn mowing and hedge trimming, I have decided to leave that in other capable hands. Ever since, I found Handy Gardeners, I let them do the regular maintenance in my garden, while I deal with planting and other easy enough tasks for me. I like the work that they provide, which has been ranging from ok to perfect visit by visit. The last time they pruned my hedge it seemed to me that they had cut too much of it. I was wrong though because soon after that, its shape was even better than before. These guys realy know their work and that is why I have chosen them as my go-to gardeners!

Worst service I have ever had. They did a terrible job and were stroppy on the phone

Terrible customer service! They come, do half a job and then try and charge again just to finish what they started. Watch out!

Thanks Handy Gardeners! My garden was so overgrown but I was unable to take proper care of it nor to use it. Now with the winter coming and the need to winterize it, I had to use the services of a gardening company. I had no expectations when hiring this company, but when I saw my garden after they were done with working on it and how it was transformed, I was speechless! Got a call back soon after I sent handy gardeners’ a quote. A very polite girl called Mia took all my details and information with such an attention and gave me the best time slot comfortable for me. Their gardeners managed to get my house despite the terrible traffic in the area almost on time. They were very reasonably priced and hard-working. Fantastic, simply fantastic!
